I agree; I’m hoping we’re going to see some Roy Kent Learns About His Feeling next season. Roy is, god bless him, pretty damn co-dependent, at least in his relationship with Keeley. (Actually, they both are to a degree. Keeley’s first thought upon seeing a small overnight bag is that they were breaking up.) He has

I was yelping “offside! offside!” when he got that ball. But then when the defender comes in from out of frame, it does look like he was closer to the goal than Jamie. But the wider shot shows Jamie clearly offside!

The Chosen One homage is indeed deliberate.  Which is always a fun detail about Ted Lasso that I appreciate - for a show being created for a primarily American and definitely not sports-obsessed audience (being that it’s hardly ever mentioning the actual sport), it does love to drop in these little nods to real world

But don’t you think that the reaction to Nate’s heel turn will form much of Season 3's story? That is what I assume will be the case. I don’t need to see Ted and Beard’s reaction to Nate’s heel turn in the finale because I assume much of Season 3 will be dealing with What To Do About Nate. He’s now coaching another

He also seems to only have one tone: unmoderated excitement. It’s just, like, so freaking bad.

I had a different reading of the Roy/Keeley scene at the end. (And I am definitely not saying mine is the right one, just that it is something I’ve experienced.) Nate’s kiss attempt is not even a blip on Roy and Keeley’s relationship (God knows Keeley is not interested, and Roy’s reaction - “That must have been very

Yes, I see that as much more likely a scenario. It’d be pretty difficult to hire an actor to do that deep of a fake (though the jokes that Edwin was constantly surrounding himself with actors would land funnier, I guess) but I can absolutely see Rupert reading the writing on the wall when it comes to Richmond (after

Ordinarily, throwing this much silly into one episode would probably have not worked, but this episode was great.  I laughed out loud so many times.  Gossiping gargoyles, The Baron and his various modes of transportation, the freaking Harmonica.  And the vampire press conference, which was just so silly it turned

I would suggest getting a squirrel baffle, but mine have figured that out too, the little assholes.

He was controlling it with his miiiiiind!

My main frustration watching the first two episodes? I have no idea how much won equates to a USD so I spent half of the episode trying to google currency exchanges so I could understand just how deeply in the shit these people were.

So was I.  I think by now I just assume that anywhere that isn’t the US is a wonderful socialist utopia but ha ha, I forget that other countries are also pretty shitty to live in.

The poor family were poor because they were trapped in a cycle of poverty, wherein every little or big thing that befalls them is a monumental setback. If a rich person gets in a car crash and breaks their legs, it is a deep annoyance to go to the hospital, potentially have surgery, go to months of rehab, catch up on

I like to think it is a physical prop (within the context of actually shooting the show) because that would make the scene even scarier*, if actors had to see that damn head turn around in real life.

Ah, see, the first one barely registered for me.  In fact, when I saw that it was AF2, I thought at first that it was an animated sequel to the 90s Addams Family, which would have been ridiculous.

Flo would like me to remind you that you can save by bundling.

Ugh, I hated the Dub.  I hate them in general (just give us subtitles!) but in this case I thought the dub actors were horrible and couldn’t deliver a line worth shit.  It really took me out of it.

Do you have a small child that watches TV?  Because if so, then I can say they’ve been everywhere.  Every ten minutes.

And she can play a tiny sax!

I will forever trumpet her performance in Steel Magnolias.
