Ah, this makes me happy!

Exactly. I keep waiting for her to bust out with an ad for Prose haircare or something, but no. She just seems to enjoy chilling.

Ha, yes, it seems a common thread in Q is how much smarter they are than everyone else.  It all makes sense!

Oh, definitely.  It is normal to want to protect your kids from threats (perceived or actual) but when you make that your entire identity, the entire world has to twist itself into one big threat to keep up.

I’m here to tell you - I suffered a traumatic brain injury (and not even a bad one! just your bog standard concussion that I stupidly did not listen to the doctors about caring for!) and it really can change your life. Though at least it didn’t turn me Q, so small mercies, I guess.

Ah. I define woo mentality as someone for whom alt-medicine, New Age practices, etc holds particular appeal. But, more than that, it’s a cross-cultural thing - like, I wouldn’t consider someone with Indigenous heritage burning herbs ceremoniously to be Woo, but I would consider a white lady living in the suburbs

I lost my cousin to Q in early 2020 (and it does feel exactly like that - like once I had a fairly normal cousin who now is enveloped in a cult). From my sample size of 1, here’s what I think led her down the rabbit hole:

Frank probably threatened a horse’s head for the pap if he didn’t leave them alone.

My theory on this unholy coupling (which did produce adorable kids) is that she had an affair with him and felt she HAD to make the relationship work after that.  Like, if you’re going to blow up your life over someone, then you need to marry them and make a real go of it; otherwise you just blew up your life and hurt

Her IG is my ray of sunshine on gloomy days. I love her obsession with Ina,her wacky dancing, all of it.

I’ve been loving the Don Johnson Renaissance. As a child, I desperately wanted to be Sunny Crockett and when I was a bit older, I desperately wanted Nash’s car.

It’s taken me this many years and your comment to realize that The Americans’ first darkly humorous joke was naming its characters Philip and Elizabeth.

The Rescuers was my favorite of all the Disney films as a child. There’s something about it that just really hit the sweet spot as a kid - the villain is bad but not too scary, the heroes are noble but not stupid, and the music was pretty uniformly great.

Eh, he also went to a costume party dressed as a Nazi, including an actual period-authentic SS armband that I can only presume he borrowed from his grandfather’s sisters or his great great uncle. Harry’s not perfect. (although I do think his jackassery was general, privileged white dude jackassery and not, like,

I definitely think he had the affair with Rose whatshisname, so I’m not inclined to speak very well of him in general.

I think it’s truly symbiotic though. You’ll notice that the press have really eased up on Camilla and Charles in the last decade, and even Will’s affair is getting no real foothold over there. Why? Because Charles and Will will end up on the throne eventually. They have to play nice for access.

Harry didn’t want her to run, is my thinking.  Like, Will fucking sucks but at least Kate knew what she was getting into by the time they got married.  I think Harry kept Meghan in the dark because he knew she’d GTFO if she got a glimpse behind the curtain.  (Though my husband figures it’s all just more normal for

Anne and Edward both seem pretty chill (which is why I hope neither of them are the ones perpetrating this crap).  Unfortunately, Charles and Andrew are SO bad that it really does overshadow things.

Funny enough, Todd’s surrogate parents are a gay couple.

The dog part is upsetting, yes.
