I don't think they are villains. I think that I would rather put my money with a company that has outright said we aren't mucking with your right to own games, sell them, play them used, or lend/borrow them.

Or they could go the Sony and Nintendo route and keep their hands off. It is going to be pretty tough to get this taste out of my mouth, and the only way to get companies to listen is to hit them in the wallet.

Not sure how you get that conclusion. Sony said they would do nothing to prevent used gaming. Microsoft is tying your game to your account. This makes $10 to get all the features of a used game look reasonable. Also, I don't think EA can take their ball and go home like the hissy fit they are throwing at Nintendo's

You are wrong. Pirates will still find a way to steal games, while I will continue to be a "sucker" and pay for them. I have always purchased my games and my loyalty is rewarded by being put into a lump box with thieves and told "we aren't sure who is doing it so we are punishing everyone". Now, it looks like I will

If that is the case, I will reconsider. I can't help but feel that if that was the case they would have stated so at any of the opportunities they had to do so.

My complaint is valid anyhow. If you've forgotten, they are tying game purchases to accounts so that I can't rent or buy them used anymore, and I don't care for that. They are being dodgy about how far it goes, which means it goes deep.

You sound defensive. Steam is account linked. I buy games on Steam when they are on sale. I didn't rush out and buy a box to play PC games on. I had a PC. I buy games for it. I buy consoles only for console games, and expect to be able to rent them and lend them. This is about expectations. PC games have been linked

Steam makes games affordable. You think Xbox will make anything affordable? This is the first console that will restrict renting or lending, and I am not eating the crap they are feeding me. Nom Nom all you want.

I know this is a trollish post, but I just joined myself.

The inclusion, not forcing, of Kinect on everyone is okay because this will allow developers to make games that are better for Kinect. If everyone has it integration is possible and not a waste of time, better games are more profitable, etc.

How about tying games to accounts so I can't lend, borrow, or rent games anymore. That isn't hate, that is legitimate backlash.

This has made my console buying decision very easy. PS4.

I have a PC, 3DS, and will be buying a Wii U. Consoles that are overpriced PCs are the ones that should die, but innovative consoles that offer a completely different experience and hardware are the one's that the "hardcore gamer" hates the most. I don't get it.

Gamers are notoriously difficult to please and very vocal.

This sounds like one of those PC gaming is dead articles. Consoles will live on. Gaming will live on. Anyone who wants a deep gameplay experience will get it on PC or a console. I have yet to find a game on ios or android that comes close to scratching the itch that playing a proper game can. Mobile versus PC/Console

I never said the best. I did say that they look better than the video embedded above. And I am right.

No need to call me retarded. You are in the minority. The game doesn't look as good as Skyrim.

Reading more of your comments leads me to believe you really are the guy making this game.

The initial post that started the thread commented that this game was graphically superior to Skyrim. If you get a chance to check out the vid, see if you agree. Bethesda makes a buggy game, but ugly isn't a word that works when describing Skyrim. If you mean they lack polish in a game play sense, agreed. If you find

So you think Skyrim is graphically superior? You must have eyeballs. Have you seen the thread above where the guy thinks that this is prettier to look at than Skyrim? Scratching my head over that one.
