Ugh, so this sounds a lot like that Kid Icarus game on 3DS in that you have to twist up into knots just to play it. Damn shame, I could’ve stood even a mediocre game if the controls had just been left alone.

Actually, yes they did. I bought a couple of games that way plus took advantage of the downloaded emulators they offered for my disc games.
There is a HUGE community of retro gamers and their money that would disagree with you.
I’m honestly surprised Blizzard hasn’t set up a server for this yet. The one for EQ has done very well from everything that I’ve read about it. Seems like they’re leaving some cash on the table even if it’s a small portion of their base.
Generally, if you’re posting anything above 72dpi online or of a size that can be printed clearly at that resolution, you’re just asking for your shit to be pirated. I do graphics work professionally and you wouldn’t believe how much people just Google search and lift shit without even thinking about it’s value. It’s…
But, didn’t you hear? It’s not stealing, they’re just making copies of it. (/Sarcasm)
Yeah, we’ve been dealing with it for decades in the webcomic community as well. A lot of times you just have to rely on your fanbase to alert you to any violations.
I thought this was going to be another story about how a bunch of pledges were bullshit thereby killing the project. Glad it worked out for them.
We tried this stupid shit in the 80's/90's too. It was hell.
I’ll echo Black Desert (just got it myself) and keep an eye on Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen. Looks promising.
Greenlight. As in, most of the shit that gets posted to Steam Greenlight.
So basically it replicates the most annoying, time wasting part of any DB episode where they look like they’re taking a massive shit.
Sadly, it’s a little of both. Gamers aren’t willing to wait and allow certain games to get the time they need which pressures publishers into pushing anything out the door. Other developers are leaning on the online connectivity of these systems in a way that was never meant to be which is leading to games that are…
Anyone who defends this clearly isn’t thinking long term. If I want to play SFIII and I pop in the disc, I get the whole game. If I want to play SFV years from now and something happens to all that “patching” (and it’s really stretching the nature of patches), I’m basically going to be stuck with a game that’s nearly…
Blink and you’ll miss it.
I logged in last night and was pleasantly surprised by the xbox prompts. A controller is definitely the way to go but the movement stick seems just a hair off like it’s maybe too sensitive.
Anyone else going crazy at the way all of these people are mixing up copyright and trademark? UGH....THEY ARE NOT THE SAME THING.
Yeah, I was going to say that’s actually when they got good with the (then) decent port of the arcade game.
Don’t look at the length of time, look at when they had it. During the two months when gift buying is at an all time frenzy.
