Wow, I was just thinking this yesterday as I was browsing Steam. I checked the trailers of 5-6 games and all of them were just glorified cutscenes with little to no gameplay. It just turned me off completely from wanting to try the game itself.

Even Charles Martinet (the guy who voices their flagship character), doesn’t have the clout to just talk without permission. I’ve heard many stories of people who just wanted to interview him for podcasts and he loves to do it but has to clear what he can say with Nintendo before appearing.
