At least this guy is using the stick to attempt to make it look legit.

It's a work in progress from the sounds of it which means eventually it will have all the music and sound effects.

Honestly, SOE's approach to free play (Free To Play Your Way) is probably the industry's best hope at doing it in a way that includes as many people as possible. MMOs should offer as many choices as possible all within the same world like EQ/EQ2. It makes everyone happy because players choose how much they want to

Actually no, I didn't. I've asked Disney directly and tried to find confirmation without much success. I sincerely hope it is because that will be the platform I get it for.

The thing that rubs me the wrong way is that apparently, instead of just saying he had to get more info before making a comment, he proceeded to rip the interviewer a new asshole about "bothering" him. That's why Beer was all up in his shit on IW this Friday.

Yeah, he was the first name that popped into my head when they announced Beast was going to be in the film. Made perfect sense.

Microsoft has been slapping people around for a long ass time way back to MS-DOS.

Don't forget sparkles! Oh! And some streamers and little flags! *DERP CLAP*

Some of the characters are designed more like toys than their in movie models so they'll look a little more blocky than they might otherwise.

I play them too but let's say I buy it on 360. A few years later, Disney decides to release an expansion to the game. I would be willing to bet they're not going to release it on platforms that are now considered "dead". Especially if it's offered as a digital download and the Live service/PSN is no longer working

I wish they were making this for PC. If I make that much of a long term investment in all these toys, that you know will be coming out for years, I want it on a platform that will last longer than 4-5 years.

Ah, ok that makes more sense. Although, if I had a Genesis, I think I would want to play the awesome 16 version more than the 8 bit one. :)

I know the Genesis had the original Master System hardware in it and the Power Base Converter was simply a pass through. Not sure on the 2 and 3 and if they even had the Master System parts still inside them.

Ok look, at least it can't be as bad as the Strider that U.S. Gold made, right? RIGHT?!

I'm wondering if that Genesis play is with the Power Base Converter. Because I've never seen a Master System cart just straight play on a Genesis before (but I'm happy to be wrong).

I honestly wonder if any of these big publishers have much in the way of internal teams anymore. It certainly would explain the severe slide of quality of games from companies that used to put out hit after hit. Now they just contract these games out to the lowest bidder and hope for the best.

*Lights a cigarette*

But at least Metal Slug didn't ask you to insert $1.00 to buy a special gun. And yeah, Metal Slug was stupid hard.

Ok, pretty funny but not entirely accurate. Back then, a quarter was needed per play but if you were good you could make that quarter last the entire game. Some of the later sports games in the 90's came closer by making you drop cash to play every quarter of one match (NBA Jam I'm looking at you).
