Holy shit, in all the years I've been playing that game I never noticed that.

The Genesis CPU was faster than the Super Nintendo so if someone was able to program well for it, they could really make it scream. But I'm pretty sure there was no "blast processing" switch that overclocked anything.
No doubt. Last time I read anything on it, it was just some bullshit marketing term Sega used very effectively in commercials.
I would say it really doesn't matter. Even as an investor, all you're looking for is a product that works well so you get a good return on your investment.
Hey, just pray like hell we don't have a second go at the mascot wars of the 90's. That was when things got stupid and any animal or object was up for a platformer.
Well, it has become a style. Plenty of games are doing high end visuals in 2d also so there's plenty of fun for everyone.
To the end user, why would the development engine matter as long as the game plays well?
I'm probably thinking of Dare Devil then. I really wish they'd just let Marvel have F4 back. The two they did were just awful.
Pretty sure that Marvel / Disney got the rights back to F4 and...something else (Dare Devil...Ghost Rider?) so if they are rebooting anything, it'll be Marvel doing it and I'm sure they'll recast.
Exactly. First, that's what they're paid to do. Second, I'm pretty sure that Conan probably gathered a bunch of them up, explained what the skit would be and asked if they wanted to have some fun. He didn't force them to parade around against their will or make them do something degrading.
I'm by no means a coding wizard but at the time I actually got kicked out of the programming class because I would get bored and walk around helping others write their code. It was still cool that they were even offering that type of thing in school at the time.
At least it's only $40 on Steam right now.
I used to spend many nights in junior high writing programs in Quick Basic. God I wish I could remember half of what I had learned back then. It was very addicting writing code.
*record scratch*
Exactly. What the hell is wrong with just having a new machine that gives the developers more video and audio power and let them come up with cool new games?
Nah, I already pre-ordered my PS4 and I'm not changing my mind. Maybe next time, instead of telling us all to piss off Microsoft, you can actually listen to your fan base and give us a machine we want instead of one your stockholders want.
Hot damn! These were fantastic arcade games from Capcom's golden era. So grabbing this on Steam this weekend.
"Gamers will either get over the XBO within a few years, or it'll end up succeeding without the support of them."
Bingo. Lock it in now and just make sure your payment method is good come shipping time.
Prime pays for itself in so many ways.
