I’m in Canada, so I can store it here. I’ve honestly been tossing up the idea of maxing out my student loans to buy R34s, but I don’t think my bank would go for it.

Man, the US really messes up the cheap JDM market. Turbo manual FD RX7s from Japan could be picked up in great condition for less than $10k CDN just a couple years ago. Now, this car’s pretty much par for the course when it comes to FDs.
It’s impossible for a car to include a Gulf-themed paint job from the factory and not be cool, honestly.
How is it that the ICBC can operate at a loss and still charge the most in Canada for auto insurance? Where’s the money going?
At LEAST on par
It’d probably just be cheaper to buy another Malibu than a new set of tires.
I guess I’ve only had one set for Pirelli tires, and I won’t have any more. I’ve had 4 sets of Westlake tires on different cars, 3 sets of summer tires and 1 set of winter tires and I haven’t had any issues like I did with the Pirelli tires. I’ve also multiple sets of Federal Super Steel 595 tires, Federal ZIEX tires,…
Ha. If you knew some of the hoopties I drive on public streets, my tires would be the least of your concerns.
I used to think that too. Suckered into spending $150+ per tire on my daily because everyone told me cheap tires are bad. But then I tried out cheap tires (I was on a budget) and now I’ll never go back.
I’m always on the hunt for cheap tires on my daily. They’re hard as hell so they’ll last forever and give you great gas mileage. I’ve had great luck with Westlake. They’re probably the best bang-for-your-buck tire I’ve found.
I race short track. I know about local, redneck, all-goes sports. Anything goes, besides a reverse spin, on the track. Worst case, you get DQ’d from the race. But hitting under caution is still penalized with bans. That shit is uncalled for.
A week’s suspension seems way too light. At our track, we had an invitational driver come out from a local dirt track, and intentionally drive into the door of a car under caution because he was mad. He got a lifetime ban.
Those trumpets screwed to that flat plate killed me. This car is so fantastic.
Yeah. Living in the prairies, I hear “It’s not hurting the environment because it’s heavy” all the time. It’s crazy how people think this.
A friend of mine ran an auto wrecker at the time, and he got a Z32 300ZX from the program. The car had around 50,000 km on it, it was bone stock, not a spec of rust on the car, and it drove down the highway perfectly. But it had to be crushed. That car is the main reason I hate the program. We couldn’t even take parts…
To be fair, I said the same thing about Cash for Clunkers, but replaced “kids and people who are without” to “me”
I’m sure they spewed more pollutants into the air towing that thing to the track than actually running it.
It’s a twist. This is the new Supra. That’s why the badge is taped over
Building cars in a tent is kinda baller, honestly. I hope it all works out for Tesla.
Yeah, it’s really too bad the market didn’t take off with hybrid technology. They’re a simple solution, at least for now, to the increased mileage dilemma, and they’re great for developing electric batteries for the switch to all-electric cars, without being niche like electric cars are. Development could be so much…
