Crown Vic, hands down. It doesn’t get any more American than picking up a Crown Vic at a police auction with vague outlines of police decals still on the sides.
I don’t know. I’ve walked into a few dealerships wanting pretty specific cars, and have never been able to get to the point where I can sign on the dotted line. I do my research, pick the exact features I want on a car (a Toyota 86, for example), walk into a dealership finding out if they can order me one (because I…
I don’t think you can ask $9,000,000 and say it’s not about the money. Sure, justice should be served, and a lawsuit for compensation for damages can do this. Prove it isn’t about the money by donating the remaining money, after court and lawyer fees, to a respectable charity.
“It’s god damn cheese, you communist” is my new favourite James May line.
This game’s going to be awful. Terrible physics, poor production quality, buggy, bad script, etc.
He talked about it in the article. Constantly opening and closing it to fill it with wood would jam the mechanism with shavings. If you’re not filling it above the box, a pop-up unit makes sense. But pop-ups are a pain in the ass when you’ve got to haul tall stuff, especially unexpectedly.
The Honda Fit’s a great car. My ma has had an ‘09 for years now and she loves it.
Two old cars are more reliable than one new car. One new car will be off the road for maintenance and repairs more often than both of the old cars.
Numerous other vehicles suspected to be involved with the side show were also stopped for mechanical violations as they exited the Bay Bridge.
Man, I heard global warming was raising sea level, but I didn’t realize it already caused the coastline to move up to Hollywood, CA.
I was trying to get a Honda CRX on the roads a couple of years ago. I had the car almost buttoned up when I realized I didn’t have any lug nuts. I live about 30 minutes from the nearest city, and I didn’t want to drive in to get some lug nuts, so I decided to take the lug nuts off of my Integra GSR, which had a blown…
I wonder if Tesla is going to break into racing by running the Model 3 in an all-electric World Rallycross series. I hope Musk has plans for it.
Literal icy situations.
That’s why, when it’s icy, I keep the clutch disengaged but keep the car in gear. I was coming around a bend one winter while slowing down and the back of my CRX stepped out. I think it would have spun if I had to take the time to but it in gear, but since it was already in 3rd, I just let the clutch out and gave it a…
Once you learn your car you can take off at idle. I don’t know about Mustangs, but they’re probably right. You learn how to vary the throttle to keep the engine at basically idle as you ease off the clutch.
Huh. I thought you were never supposed to let your car coast to a stop, and always keep it in gear, even if the clutch is disengaged the whole time. My dad told me it was so I could use the throttle at all times to get out of a sticky situation, if I needed to. This guy probably knows more on the subject than my dad…
I don’t think the prices are ever gonna drop back down.
Just imagine what they’re gonna be once they’re legal in America. GTTs are still cheap. sub-$10k cheap. R34 GTRs never really stood a chance of becoming cheap.
No shit. In high school, a buddy of mine picked up a GTS-4 for $3k. The paint was rough but the car wasn’t all that bad. I’m laughing looking at R32 prices now.
