God no, bitcoin is a completely unsustainable waste of energy. But that doesn't mean all uses of blockchain technology are ever going to come close to wasting as much energy as it does.

You don’t seem to understand that not every blockchain is going to use anywhere near the amount of energy that bitcoin uses.
I agree that it’s an intentional design decision. They clearly thought out all of this to push players to spend money on the game. I don’t think $5 a month is predatory though. The cost of primogems bought separately? Absolutely predatory, but targeting the whales, not casual f2p players. And whales gonna whale no…
Yeah, impatient people are going to want to grab the 90 primo gem a day boost for $5, at the very least. Fortunately, any other way to pay for primogems is so outrageously overpriced, it’s not even worth considering.
I’d go so far as to say that it’s incredibly f2p friendly. The only content a f2p player might struggle with is the abyss and that’s only a tiny piece of very optional content and, even then, they’ll be able to clear it eventually. Constellations are mostly unnecessary too, but if you’re careful with your free…
Wow, that is one fucking ugly game
Oh nice, I used to love this site. A while back, I found https://app.jqbx.fm/ which is similar, but uses spotify.
Doesn't even need to use it to make a game. Just put a disclaimer on the fundraiser page saying any donation under $100000 will go towards whatever the hell he wants.
The separate check is a pre-payment. People in the situation you’re describing will get the stimulus with their tax return.
Ironically enough, now that the changes they made with this final update as they gave up on it now make it sound like something I’d want to play and would probably pay $10-$15 for.
No, while you don’t need 4k textures to run a game at 4k resolution, 720p textures on a 4k screen are going to be quite noticeable. They’re very much related. They just aren’t interdependent.
You missed my point entirely.
Oh many of them definitely have 4k assets sitting around, but that doesn’t mean that the company is going to be willing to commit the time and effort necessary to develop, test, and release a patch for the switch version of the game that includes them. That takes time, money, and developers that probably aren't…
Sure, but that doesn’t have much tangible value to me on the switch itself if the games don’t support it. It’s just a good thing moving forward. But it was also inevitable, so not really that exciting for the reason you’re stating either.
Huh, I wonder how useful 4k support will be. I doubt developers were bundling 4k textures with their switch releases up to this point. I imagine older games will need updated or to release texture packs to really benefit from this.
“A basketball card, so long as it exists and can be held, is a thing, and may hold value for someone, somewhere, someday, simply by virtue of existing in a physical space.”
I think we may be witnessing the birth of an entirely new useless merch item!
Not a huge fan of country, but ignoring that, there’s something off with the mix and the vocals are preeetty rough, and the lead guitar sounds a little off-beat. Fine for a novelty song in a game, but I’d never want to listen to it again even if I was going through a country phase.
I don’t ever rewatch things, so if I’m paying for a movie or show digitally, it will be for a rental unless the purchase price is nearly the same due to a sale or something. That being said, I maybe rent or purchase two or three things a year. Everything else is usually available to stream by the time I get around to…
It has nothing to do with the show's end. It was clear he wasn't going to finish it years ago.
