Typical for liberal politicians to propose a solution that makes them feel good but accomplishes little to nothing. The vast majority of deaths by firearm (including those on campuses) are by hand guns, not assault rifles.

How many of the 18 school shootings this year (and gun deaths in general) were by hand guns? A ban on assault rifles is the equivalent of thoughts and prayers. It won’t change a thing, but will make politicians and liberals feel better.
