Pelosi won’t seat Harris without a new election. But today’s Republicans are nuts. I have a feeling the vote will be 3-2, Pelosi refuses to seat, it winds up in court. Sure, the Constitution is on Pelosi’s side, but that won’t matter to some of our federal judges.

Same question here. Overweight people are more likely to drink diet sodas, so of course they will have worse health outcomes. Do all of these diet drink studies control for that?

What does this emergency have to do with the investigation?

What is the incentive for the House to pass this? Why did Senate Dems vote for it, knowing the emergency declaration before the vote? The House should pass a different bill with zero DHS funding. 

There was also controversy in 2018 over the same topic. The Republicans wanted to put Sheriff David Clarke in the resolution. No joke.

I hate that specialty pizzas including pineapple also tend to include Canadian bacon, which is gross. I love any other meat on pizza but Canadian bacon.

There’s no point in arguing with these people. They are fine believing social obligations apply to one group but not another. They hide behind words like “ethics” and “beliefs.” That line of thinking is analogous to people using religion to carve out exceptions to social norms and laws, much like Hobby Lobby.
