I am not sure how I missed that one, with my fundy parent.

I loved Misfits of Science as a kid. Teen angst. Bad guys getting shot by lightning bolts. Okay, that’s all i remember, but I know it was great.

That’s good ‘cause I missed the jive-talking robot buddy part.

I thought it was good for its time - good escape, and the kept it moderately interesting as he grew up as a supposed high schooler with super powers. He did eventually fly.

Um no.

Ah, you beat me to it. Classic! The special effects were terrible, and what the whole show was about - which when I was 9 was just the ticket!

Trump fans - that’s what they are, ‘fans’ of his show - don’t care about facts or reality. They are ready for a warm blanket even if it is fascism.

I basically agree with you.

There seems to be a lot of overly familiar family members in this story and a little incestuousness.

I just thought Snoke’s character was weak. He just sat up on his throne as some overgrown troll-like oaf trying to look evil, and it didn’t work. Looked like a shriveled CGI giant from LOTR or something.

it doesn’t have to make sense to his supporters. As long as he says something.

Still waiting to see if he has any view or opinion that is not backward, vial and that he may exercise restraint from sharing. Not today.

Yikes.

Well all right then.

I’m kind of a sucker for sci-fi/fantasy, but this looks like a lot of overkill and mediocrity....I am unwilling to invest time getting into most of these shows either because they don’t hold enough interest and/or the presumption that many will be cut anyway, in which case, I would rather have been watching something

Mr. Robot seems to fit in with this list as much as some of the others and is the show I am most looking forward to returning.

Is that show funny? Sober?

Is that a real thing?

Netflix is pretty bad at surfacing new content in general or associating per my past preferences, a la Amazon, which can sometimes read my mind.
