Bland, generic looking crossover EV looks blander and more generic than ever. Big surprise here.

Gotta be honest, I think the aspect ratio of the photos is making it worse. Other criticisms aside, by cropping the edges of the car while leaving the height of car in-frame plus extra, I suspect it’s making the car look narrower than it is.
The Model Y has always been awkward-looking. These things are crawling all over Vancouver and they’re weird. They’re homely. They look like they want to be futuristic but don’t quite know how to pull that off.
Thing has always looked like a clown car to me with that bulbous greenhouse. This update is also bad.
a lucid is cooler than a taycan because you have a fully functioning, carvernous, exceptional handling car which allows you to forget whether it’s IC or EV. The taycan reminds you at every 180 mile recharge that it’s a first gen EV, not to mention the fact it will spend a significant portion of your ownership in the…
Gotta be that they discovered that an EV didnt work for them or something.
I honestly don’t know a lot about them, but I saw one on the highway a month or so ago, which is really unusual here in rural Illinois, and it was a stunning looking car. Really got my attention.
Never mind all the electric vehicle selling points, these appear to be just well-made cars. Hope they make it past the hump.
So you wanna turn a beautiful car into Just another crossover like everything else. God y’all are boring =(
A $50k Lucid Air is pretty cool, but do you know what is really cool?
I’m usually annoyed when the American Left frames the Scandinavian nations as socialist utopias, because it isn’t entirely accurate.
When I was a young boy decades ago, the local radio stations went off the air at night, leaving plenty of airspace for CKLW Detroit. I can’t begin to tell you how many Motown hits I heard on their debut play over my little transistor radio while in my bed, including “Baby Love”.
Don’t kid yourself. From Trump-branded merchandise to relentless pleas for his faithful to constantly kick with more cash, he wants to bleed Team MAGA dry too.
a handful of automakers are “donating to his inauguration fund” to win favor with his administration
I looked into it a bit more. A company called “Phoenix Motorcars” imported these to do EV conversions, my guess it that this one didn’t get converted and got sold off in some sort of restructuring agreement. I think it looks pretty cool, but at $10k or less. Even $10k is a bit much.
The other trick many are resorting to is taking a “down payment” off of the sale price.
I recently bought a used Mazda from an Autonation-owned BMW dealership. There were NO added fees that I considered egregious, and the price was at or below market for comps. The F&I guy knew I wasn’t buying his stuff, but I let him do his spiel anyway. 9.5/10 would shop there again.
Dealer does this to me one time and I’m gone. Life is too short to play games, and the gravy days of parts shortage are over.
someone posted this one on reddit. 4 grand worth of fees on a $8,500 jetta.
