And when Florida is fully underwater, we can send everyone to Greenland. Like our own little Australia for meth heads.

Yeah, my assumption is that everything noted in this article is only valid for the next 10 days. And may, retroactively, become invalid back to January 1st.
I (not a professional) think it’s risky on a purchase, even right now before he takes office. Whether you buy the car today, when they the rebates are valid, or in 2 weeks after he gets rid of them on his 2nd day in office, it’s all filed under the 2025 tax year. At the end of the day, you still need to qualify for…
I have a used ex rental Tesla that did 95% of it’s charging on DCFCs (scan my Tesla). After 120k miles of DCFC it has a grand total of 7% battery degradation. Stop fear mongering about DCFC. It’s a non issue.
let’s just assume Trump isn’t gonna screw this all up
that would vanish if an emissions rollback happened
hahahah, now why do they look similar.
They were popular and sold a bunch but those that knew, the MKI MR2 was a better car in every way. Then in 1988 when the supercharged MKI was released it was over for the Fiero. I will say, the GT looks better than the MKI MR2 to a current set of eyes.
One of my Christmas gifts a few weeks ago was a handy dandy microwavable popcorn maker from Amish Country Popcorn. Add a little oil, add some corn, pop it just like a premade bag, add some butter and seasoning. Works as fast as a premade bag, and a hundred times easier to clean than a traditional popcorn popper…
You missed the entire point as usual. Most people don’t give a shit about the full vehicle history on a appliance bin car, especially on one that usually doesn’t have too many issues in a year or two... Even if you used DC fast chargers the entire time, the battery won’t degrade that much after a year or two...
You may not want to buy it though. May be better off going to buy something used at the end for a bargain, or if the leases are still as good as they are now, you may be happy to lease again.
Were these cars cool when they came out?
Quite a few students at PSU that dont play sports and have/had zero to do with the horrifics associated with JS. Kinda over-the-top to kill an entire uni simply because of one (really) bad shitbag in the football program.
It looks like a character from Courage the Cowardly dog
Puh-leaaaaase let Canoo survive! I love their funky designed vans.
Yep, at the time they were definitely cool, and for the mid-80s they were generally viewed as good (if intentionally underpowered) cars. As they article notes, they suffered under the GM pecking order that mandated not competing with anything above them (Corvette, Camaro/Firebird).
I test drove a number of late 80's Fiero GT’s in the day... They’re sleek on the outside, but like much of the 80's and 90's GM products, the interior design team seemed to have no clue what the exterior of the car would look like; so there’s this disconnect between the smooth, sleek exterior and very harsh, sharp…
Question for those a little older than me: Were these cars cool when they came out?
I mentioned elsewhere, and although I respect irrational love for cars, I always felt like these were loved for what they could have been if they had not been intentionally gimped by GM, not for what they actually were. Sadly, that’s the modern Pontiac story until GM killed them for good because China loves its…
It would be nice if there was some detail around the engine replacement (who knows, maybe you could track down the shop that did it), but at this price it doesn’t matter- NP.
