Boeing will be one company hoping for better fortunes this new year.
First Gear: If you keep having to remind people you’re the one holding the reins... You are losing your grip.
When I rented one of these several years ago, I wanted to go over every inch of it, but I couldn’t figure out how to do half of the stuff in the video (thankfully, cause I would have definitely screwed up the hood!). But it amazes me that the Germans (well, BWM mostly), of all people, wouldn’t have made something more…
I’m giving it a nice price because they just don’t make ‘em like this anymore. This one is clean and it should keep you on- (and occasionally 0ff-) the road for another 50-100K miles for about $10k. The only other way to get an SUV about this clean and capable is to spend $35K plus on something new. Sure you won’t…
Well to be fair based on inflation from 2004 to 2024 this is a bit of a bargain, $7500 in 04 is about $12,500 in 2024 dollars.
I applaud them not cutting this one up, but I think the price is a touch high.
It’s 30 years old. ND.
I was on the fence, but seeing as it’s gone, NP, I guess. I was a little skeptical of the owner’s rationale for selling, but on the other hand, Bay area pricing.
V6 pony car was only to have me remind them a v6 Camry was quicker
Gone are the days of 300hp v6 Camrys. So it only makes sense to buy an i8 instead!
My first thought was Equinox EV. Same length as the Accord, but 4" wider. I’ve never leased a car but the lease deals near me for the Equinox EV is very tempting - $129/month with $3k due at signing.
The Equinox EV has a lot of features (like more range and faster charging) that make it a nice improvement over the Bolt EUV for being the “main” vehicle. It’s unfortunately quite a bit longer, which may be an issue with their space constraints.
The Air is huge. It's like 7" wider and 5" longer than the Accord in question. It is a LOT of EV though.
It might be a bit of a stretch on the budget, but there are multiple 2022 and 2023 Lucid Airs listed between 50 and 60 on Autotrader at the moment. Seems like an awful lot of EV for the money.
The guy wants something with as much space as the Accord, the Polestar 2 is NOT it. It’s cramped AF inside.
Jesus Christ. Extremism has been a known and largely ignored problem in our armed forces for decades. It’s only going to get worse under Shitler.
Possible connection - both are products of the same catastrophically inequitable society which is crumbling before our eyes?
During a September summit, Musk labeled “insane” an EPA inquiry that resulted in SpaceX agreeing to a proposed $148,378 fine for dumping pollutants, which Musk said were actually “drinking water.”
It isn’t a metaphor for the future. It isn’t even our actual future. It is our present.
