Because he doesn’t have money, he has wealth. There’s a difference.

I always thought the Supreme Court’s job was to decide issues as they relate to federal/constitutional law. Like “it’s vague whether this case falls under the state or federal law” or “we think this law is unconstitutional”. It seems like I was wrong, because they also handle things that fall under “we didn’t like the

Probably for the honors of staying on top. If Tesla stock becomes rational and tanks (tanks is relative, it’s so far overinflated that at 1/10th of it’s value it’s still way too high) he becomes broke compared to Bezos and then what? Can you imagine the embarrassment to be only worth 40 or 50 billion dollars?

Sales are down, cars are still shit, robotaxi is a fail and the man has lost his marbles completely.

Why does a man worth....300 billion by now?....need another 56?  Why does he fight this so hard when he’s got more money than God?

It is a desperate move after realizing the entire value of their stock is inflated by their own stan-ism. We’re saying the same thing there, but it’s all they got before losing all of their money.

That’s way too big of a violin. You can see it with the naked eye!

Oh sure, the Supreme Court. He definitely won’t get a biased decision there.

Cue the world’s smallest fucking violin for the world’s richest man.

Elon lied on his citizenship application and illegally worked while on a student visa.

The TR7 feels altogether more modern and different than the old British sports cars it replaced, but the early ones missed the part about being reliable like a modern car. By all reports that was pretty well sorted out when the TR8s were made, but the damage to the reputation was done, and, though a pretty great car

The first car I ever bought, back when we bought cars based on 40 words in a printed newspaper, and it ruined me for average cars ever since. It’s been a very long time, and I still remember the first time I caught this view as the garage door came open. As I think back along the list of cars that are no longer mine,

Purists scoff, but the TR8 is the hairy-chested sports car that the TR6 always aspired to be. And I say that as a guy who owned a TR6.

I was a little torn on this one. The redone interior looks great, the dash seems to be crack free and the overall presentation looks nice. But the price seems on the highish side.

I get the feeling this is one of those prices where the owner is trying to recoup the money he spent refreshing the interior. He should probably just keep it and enjoy it. ND

The TR6 is one of the best looking cars ever made.

I loved the look of the late 90s-early 00s Audis and had a 1996 A6 Quattro. I loved that car. Black with tinted windows (for heat, mind you), it looked great.

I used to be a big Audi fan back when I had my 2001 A4 but I haven’t found anything truly compelling in the last 15 years or so. But this — a large comfortable sedan with close to 400 miles of range for, hopefully, about $55K? Not bad. Plus it’ll probably be more reliable than an ICE Audi.

I do NOT like this trend BMW started with making headlamps chunky pods that sit in a different area than the running lamps/DRLs/LEDs... whatever you want to call them. Audi has been masterful integrating all these into handsome single clusters (probably the best look of which was the 2013/14 A8/S8). These look stupid
