in 10 years, there will be so many of these EV mods on the street. People will start buying used battery packs and motors and convert everyday cars like civic and camry to EVs with like 250 miles of range and none of the extra tech that no one really wants.

So glad I got my used EV this year to lock in the $4k credit.

Doesn’t matter how popular they are.  They’ve shown willingness to hurt themselves to own the libs.

How about this: Don’t buy American cars. Boycott US manufacturers entirely. Just as most people wouldn’t buy a make based in Russia or a model assembled in North Korea, decent people should avoid purchasing any big-ticket items like vehicles--including EVs--from this fascist country. (You won’t be missing much in

Biden’s clean-energy policies will be tough to end because they are popular

Oil companies have been burned in the past, investing in Capex, and then the price of oil collapses due to over supply.

True, they don’t want the tap of government money to get turned off. Always a good idea to diversify your portfolio- especially if your portfolio mainly consists of a finite resource.  Having the government subsidize you diversifying?  Even better.

All true. What I also got out of his statement is “it would be real real cool if the government gave us money to invest in renewables because even though we have a LOT of fucking money, and we’re going to invest in them anyway because that’s how we’re going to stay viable in 40 years, we really like it when the

Lol Nissan has become it’s own customer. I’ll offer them a high interest 10 year note on a Versa which they can use to deliver pizzas to get out of this debt.

I believe that under the current gov, there were thousands of well permits opened and never used all the while our production has increased so as usual the drill baby drill, its more scare mongering.

Chaotic, deregulatory presidency scaring oil company execs was not on my bingo card for the next 4 years.

I don’t pretend to know the cost of federalizing the Ram 700, but it looks like a Laramie Crew Cab is like $24k USD in Mexico, so I assume there’s a way to get something semi-affordable and go steal some Maverick sales.

1st - Not shocked. This is likely going to push back mass adoption rates 5-10 years, which is part of the agenda for the administration in the first place. Meanwhile, China will continue to push forward and we will get lapped for the 2nd time in this area. The EV credit being gone is also going to delay public

1st Gear: No kidding.

That is a concept I would absolutely get behind.  I like a small 4x4 with character.

You know what CEO’s and by proxy, stockbrokers enjoy? Stability. Having laws, mandates, and policies stay consistent allows you to more accurately predict cash layouts for large projects. Doing a complete 180 every 4 years makes it really hard to figure out where to spend money on long term investments.  You don’t

That grave is going to piss-soaked immediately and for decades. Ya love to see it.

That’s going to be one soggy patch of brown grass, I can assure you. There will be a 24/7 line of people waiting, and I’ll be on the side selling bottled water.

For the North American market they need to go all in on the mini-van. Make the effing Rolls Royce of mini-vans but make them reliable as a Japanese mini-van.

It’s been a couple decades since I’ve been to jail, but I will happily go back again if I get the chance to piss on Trump’s grave.
