Some details of the accident would be nice, but it could have just been a fender bender that would have shown up when you ran a carfax so it’s worth noting in the ad.

Yeah. , they look awfully warm and cozy for pictures with cacti in the background.

I’d be impressed if he could muster 10 towing a race car. This truck probably only averages 14-15 on it’s own?

I’m not against short shifters or upgrading shift feel. But this:

That’s a shame. When I was in high school they were still to expensive for too much dumb stuff to be done to them, that was still civic territory. Probably because when you’re throwing on cheap decals, a base civic will do just fine at a much lower price point. So I still have a soft spot for these, but this one is

From that price tag, I though you were going to show us a 50k original mile Prelude and then we’re argue whether the lowering and the exhaust or whatever would be annoying to change.

I think that’s part of the tough sell on this. It would be a neat start to an off-roader project, but everything would probably need to be custom made. So then it’s just an around-town runabout? Runs to the beach? It’s a little rough for that.

A v4 could provide some packaging improvements in something super compact, but compared to an I4 you have to double up a lot of expensive engine components. The VR engines from Volkswagen tried to have the best of both worlds, but it still adds complexity from an inline engine and these smaller engines usually go on a

I was a fan of the Solstice (though I preferred the looks of the Saturn Sky), which I think has aged OK. The G6 coupes were a little bit oddly proportioned to begin with I suppose, but I recall the whale tail and hood scoops being over-the-top then too.

If you have a thing for Pontiac G6s, then this seems like a decent price for a high mileage but decent condition vehicle with a little fun mixed in.

Ram has been trying its best to look like it wasn’t caught with it’s pants down on the EV front, which they clearly were. When the lightning launched, GM had the Silverado EV 75% done and Ram had maybe (if we’re being generous) just started a project.

I had the same line of thought, but I convinced myself that for the right collector it was a decent price. I don’t know how many collectors are looking for C4 corvettes, but if you were this one is pretty interesting. Though it’s mostly special because of the mileage, I’m not sure if the unique paint adds much value.

I’m with you, but there’s the part about risk on their end. If you stop paying, they can take the car and the physical charger, but they can’t take back the labor cost to install the charger, which could be a significant portion of it. So I guess it may be based on your credit whether they would offer it (probably) or

I think it’s a good indication of the seller you are dealing with. It’s easy to write people off as dumb (based on the ads I see, the overwhelming majority appear pretty dumb). But they aren’t saying “I couldn’t be bothered to clean this before taking pictures”.

Thanks for the clarification. Changing my answer then.

As others have noted, this may qualify for the new tax credit on used EVs under $25k?

I’m not sure these are graphs typically provided by manufactures, and I think most people care about the headline number and can’t be bothered to think beyond that. But yeah, it’s very important in understanding how fast a car is (and how fast it’s going to feel).

I’m really not digging this trend of making headlights slimmer across a lot of miles. It works for some design language to make for a more aggressive look, but I think on this Accord (much like on the new Mustang) it makes the whole front look squinty.

Curious how those Euro range numbers translate to the EPA numbers (given the differences between a large van and the typical vehicles tested), but getting near those numbers with a load seems pretty unlikely. But a 50% bigger battery than the E-Transit should significantly more range and another great option out there

It was a little too steep before we got to the salvage title.
