A coworker the other day was telling me that when they file taxes, any write-off that is even remotely questionable they don’t take, because his wife works in tax law and they will 100% lose any benefit of the doubt in an audit AND she’ll probably lose her license, because SHE SHOULD KNOW BETTER.

Well now I suddenly want it.

I guess devil’s advocate - Rob notes some funky deets in the ad. But for dealer craigslist ads that sort of the norm since half the ad is generally copy/paste and it could be someone who knows nothing about the vehicle putting it up.

The Forester was (and still is) pretty meh, but it offers great value - hence the popularity. Midsized SUV hauling space at small SUV pricing.

I bet the Super Duty doesn’t even have the self leveling suspension that this thing does!

Also in NY. I think a lot of the confusion stems from the enhanced license, since so many people have that for Canada travel. And it is indeed very confusing that the most expensive option, which is the one that lets you travel internationally to Canada and Mexico, doesn’t count as a “Real ID”.

I wanted to give it a Nice Price. Getting that interior back together would probably be a nightmare for me, but for someone who’s more familiar with the car maybe not.

Seems like something worth mentioning in the article...

From a quick search, the entire loop road around Yellowstone is 140miles. I don’t think they will have a problem. Most trucks will be returning regularly to a station where they can be plugged in. 120v charging would likely cover half of the Forest Service fleet, and basic home 240v service would cover 90% and let get

Don’t forget about that cool tunnel under Las Vegas! Hyperloops are heading your way shortly

I was doing some digging this morning because I was talking to some friends about this in a group chat instead of working. Outside of the most desirable cars out there (and those that are particularly in low supply because they are newer models that are ramping up) there seems to suddenly in the last couple weeks be

My sister did 2 rear-facing and a booster in an Altima for a while, and then 2 boosters and a rear-facing for a couple years. And that was a circa 2010 Altima, so I’m not surprised that the current  Accord is roomy. (but obviously those were not ideal situations and they have a minivan now)

Bonus points for when it’s a plug & play part that would take 5 minutes in your driveway.

I would say something between a “heap” and a “big ol’ load” of skepticism is appropriate.

In fairness, it would be parked at your work for most of the sunny part of the day, so unless that’s a parking garage you’d still never have to charge

I did see it was gone. But I wonder if that’s due to the massive barrage of people asking them to start it up.

I saw one in person the other day driving on the highway, and I think it may look worse than in the photos. I think the edited press photos add a sense of depth that highlights the character lines on the car. In the wild, it looks even more bulbous and smooth

It’s like they saw Lambo and Bugatti making more special “final” editions than they did regular production cars and thought “hey, that’s a good idea, we like money!”. And it is a good idea.

If you present a car like this, I’m going to have to assume it does NOT run. I’m going to assume that if it did run, you’d have brought it out and washed it. Other excuses I will not be excepting:
