If it doesn’t go 800 miles, charge in less than a second and cost $5, it just can't fit my lifestyle! /s

Er...

One unsung hero is the Chrysler 2.2 Turbo III that made 103HP/liter way back in 1991 with a 16-valve DOHC head designed by Lotus.

I always thought that the Yahama SHO would have been a great engine for the Merkur XR4ti.

SVT Contour 2.5l V6. I had a 98 CSVT. I loved that car. I miss that car.

The Ford Taurus SHO Yamaha V6

BMW’s straight six engines. But the best is surely the S54b32. It was a 3.2 liter straight six that produced 333hp. That’s more than 100 hp/L. Found in the E46 M3, as well as the later year Z3 and Z4 M Roadsters and M Coupes.

The S14 needs to be included in the best 4 cyl list.

Hands down, the Taurus SHO V6.... For an engine designed in the mid ‘80s it combined great power, good sound (when the secondary runners open) and a beautiful design... Way ahead of its time, and a shame it was put in a crappy Taurus body. I miss mine.

Just call it a high wing spoiler delete and charge for it

I’m sure they keep trying to add them, it’s just that when the engineers ask for more screens, we end up with more of them on the dashboard.

I would argue that to be a proper GTI/Si competitor, it definitely needs an LSD, and ideally a manual transmission.

I drive an STI and an RX-8.

I mean, a 6-speed plus a granny low is what we all wanted anyway, right?

The more I learn about this vehicle the more I am interested in one.
