I think the focus was on invulnerability but there’s a scene (maybe it was deleted, not sure) where he tests out how strong he is in a weight room. He loads up 500 Lbs. onto a barbell and does a few bench presses. When he’s done, the room full of football players are looking at him in shock. So yeah, he has super

It’s cute you think David Lynch will EVER give you answers.

The part where he stated he felt the need to say why because if he didn’t, the internet would’ve created its own narratives (JUSTICE LEAGUE IS A MESS HE GOT FIRED!!!) is sad. Can the internet stop its irrational hatred of him now?

The changes to the book, up to this point, were understandable. This episode inherently changed the character of Laura and made their love something less than it was in the book. This episode was unnecessary, an hour dedicated to something the book summarzed in two sentences. It was filler and entirely pointless.

I assumed the exact same thing with Laura and the bugspray. Her life was so mundane and empty that she nearly killed herself. Then Shadow entered her life and made it exciting... for a bit. Then she convinced him to rob the casino to make it more exciting... for a bit. Then she was with Robbie... for a bit. When that

This seems like an extraordinarily poorly thought out idea.

Gonna buck the trend on here and say I think it looks fucking awesome. Can’t wait.

it only makes us ignore you

English is my second language, I would be top dollar you wouldn’t be able to write coherent paragraphs in my native language . Secondly I was on my phone up to writing a quick response to an article I read not writing a fucking essay. I need to stop coming to io9 its current posters are cancer.

That’s my big worry too... for as fun as MCU movies can be, a lot of times they inject humor at inappropriate times. It’s hard to take a big important and world changing scene seriously if everyone is all jokes during it. So I’ve been very happy with MoS and BvS, because they are going with a somehow more grounded

As someone who genuinely loved BvS and Man of Steel; the latter being my favorite Superman film to date, I hope they haven’t thrown the baby out with the bath water. I really don’t want them to go full Marvel, barring Winter Soldier- I haven’t been able to take any of those films seriously.

I get what Moulton was doing, but I’m not sure getting away from ot a little is bad.

Are you suggesting in your hypothetical that we imagine they changed Cap’s origin story to not include fighting Nazis? It’s a bizarrely worded sentence. It doesn’t even make sense, as WW’s first origin story doesn’t mention her being sculpted of clay. She’s just an Amazon on Paradise Island and such. Her

If this or any other comment thread is anything to go by, it’s negative opinions that are the only ones people are allowed to have about the DCEU.

I’m now wondering if Kurt Russell’s comments from that interview earlier are prepping us for Chris Pratt taking over.

Your loss, BvS was great. Even Suicide Squad’s first half was fantastic until it jumped off a cliff.

He’s Zeus’s son in the comics too. And in the /Film spoilers.

My two cents:

Y’know what? I’m gonna watch BvS today. In fact, I am going to go out and buy it, and I never buy individual movies anymore. And I’m going to enjoy watching my purchased copy.
