Ford is comically bad at introducing new models. It took me 16 months to get my Focus RS from order to delivery thanks to production issues. I can only imagine how long it will take them to unfuck this issue with 10x more cars in the ordering system. I want a Bronco but refuse to play the hurry up and wait game again.

Yes but towing caps rarely ever have anything to do with engine power. It still has to support the trailer weight, as well as slow it down (I’m sure this would use some sort of regen for trailer breaking).

It’s what makes a Subaru a Subaru *TM.

This strikes me as a modern day take on the Dodge Journey. Make a 7 seat crossover that is objectively terrible in every way, but cheap enough so people can’t say no. 181 HP to shuffle 3800 lbs AND 7 humans? LOL.

Not to mention the max towing capacity of the etron is 1800 kg. So you can tow the empty trailer and that’s about it.

Problem is this thing will be heavy, and expensive, and heavy.

This is one of the ugliest cars ever made, mfg. be damned. And it has the added bonus of being horribly unreliable and expensive to maintain.

Is that true? I always figures Wayne knew what he was doing. That’s hilarious if true.

*Insert 4WD BOF Van here*

I would be first in line. I think Toyota figures that people will just buy a 4Runner tho.

A hybrid V6 or a Lamborghini V10, now that is a tough choice.

The 570s starts 20k higher than this. Which doesn’t matter to someone who has 180k to spend on a car. They buy them to show off to their friends, in which case I return to my original point. Hey guys! Check out my 180 thousand dollar Acura!

Who buys these? You’d be mad to pick one over a McLaren.

Why do you all talk about ICE cars like they’re going to be obsolete in the next 10 years? Like it’s a shock that companies continue to develop new models. The EV market is like 2% of the current auto market.

This is mostly a list of things that you can get by ponying up for a higher trim. The Saab dash is the only one that really deserves a spot.

Take the ~4k in negative equity and put it on top of your new loan. Then when you want to sell it in 4-5 years you can be even more under water. Tis the American way.

The 22R is a great engine, no doubt.

The 1UZ-FE. Simple and bulletproof.

Listen, just because you didn’t get something doesn’t mean someone else can’t or shouldn’t. A cheap lease is an excellent option for a lot of people. Hell, a $200 lease is probably a lot more affordable for a lot of people, rather than dropping 8k on a car that’ll basically be ready to be in the scrapyard in 3 years.

A Tilke designed track in a parking lot. What could possibly go wrong!
