Cars aren’t forbidden just because you can’t afford them. Otherwise just add every car over 200k to the list. Dumb.

To be fair, I think every Contour regardless of year was a flaming turd.

The vent molded into the fender is perfection (as long as its functional).

Under no circumstance should anyone purchase an early production first MY vehicle from Ford. I learned my lesson with my Focus RS. Never again.

I was talking to a friend who made some mistakes in life and briefly went to jail. When he got out he said he would get pulled over weekly for stupid things like not coming to a complete stop at stop signs, and then the cops would search his car (apparently they could do this without cause because he was on probation?

The worst part of this is it will probably reaffirm her faith and make her even more of a looney.

I’m honestly sort of surprised any mfg would allow 3rd party sales. It’s their car, not yours. It’s like renting a house and wanting the equity when the owner sells it. Meanwhile they take the risk if the market was down and the car isn’t worth the residual.

Unless they changed it recently, VW will paint your car any color in the VAG book o colors for $3500. I think it was 2019 that they offered the Golf R and S3 in a bunch of fun colors.

He’s really not that old, only 61. He’s just looked like a fat 85 year old for the last 15 years for some reason.

Truck/SUV MSRP’s have always been such that the manufacturer could afford to offer large incentives to sell them. Not sure they ever thought in their wildest dreams that people would happily pay sticker price for them.

That’s because you can’t get a base spec truck anymore. “Base model” trucks now would’ve been mid to upper trim just 20 years ago.

I just did a nationwide search on Auto Trader and there are only 2 with pictures (not in transit) for MSRP. Neither of them are the exclusive color for the year.

Any powered axle should have evenly worn tires. Otherwise one is spinning faster than the other and it will cause excessive wear on the differential. That’s why if you get a flat and need to drive a distance you should always move the spare to an un driven corner (front for RWD, rear for FWD). If you have newer tires

The “crackle/pop” exhaust is the worst thing to happen to the automotive industry since truck nuts.

When did they change the .:R logo? The old one was so much better.

A limited WRX starts at 33k. Base in the high 20's. Shit, for a couple grand more you could just get a base STI. You think a Hyundai is going to be less meh than a GLI?

Pretty much every truck/suv with less than 20k miles is selling for more than it was new right now. A year ago you could buy a new Ram 1500 Rebel for ~50k including rebates. They are all selling in the high 50's low 60s USED right now.

Supply and demand. TRD Pro 4 Runners had markups before the shortage.

The entire exhaust system from the catalytic converter back on a Focus RS is one piece. Its fitted to the car before the rear subframe is installed. To remove it you either have to drop the entire rear subframe/differential/axels or cut it in half. Ford even sells a nifty clamp to put it back together.

The front seats are great and Hyundai will sell exactly 100 of these. You can get a WRX or GLI for less.
