As a firm HD hater, this thing looks rad. But I can think of a whole lot of bikes that would be a better choice for $15k.

I would just like to point out that I was in no way sticking up for Tesla. The design is stupid but it is what it is at this point. People buying them should be prepared for situations like this, as far as I’m concerned. It’s sort of no different than the little coolant line that snaps on MR2's that requires an engine…
My bike is 6 years old and it’s needed nothing but oil changes twice a year and chain lubrication. Finding somewhere to charge up every 50 miles doesn’t sound like a great time.
There’s no way any OEM would take on the liability to do a fix like that. Could you imagine the story you guys would write about it?? “TESLA SHAVES OFF CRITICAL COOLANT FITTING, USES HARDWARE FROM HOME DEPOT TO REPAIR BATTERY”. Oh the humanity!
Being that it’s a V8 made by BMW it undoubtedly needs all of its valve seals replaced for the low low price of at least 3k.
Am I the only one who thinks this thing is fugly?
So what you’re saying is; all I have to do is want a car no one else want’s and I can get a discount?
I missed out on a deal on a Ram Rebel in January over $500. It eventually sold for 41.5K. Similar trucks are now trading around 50-52k. It is insane. Needless to say I’ve been kicking myself over not paying the extra $500.
Finding a RAV4 anything is really difficult these days. The Prime has to be damn near unobtanium.
GTI is the correct answer. In 10 years when it’s worn out charging infrastructure will be better and you can go EV.
I hope these sell well so I can buy a used one in 18 months for <10K.
This is the free market at its finest. The uber rich who want one before anyone else will pay the 20k premium without even thinking twice about it, because 20k means nothing to them. The dealership then uses that money to pay its employees, have holiday parties, and probably buy the owner another boat. At the end of…
Saying that American’s are back to being irresponsible would imply that they stopped at some point.
Their pool guy is going to be pissed.
For a decade old this thing still looks incredibly modern both inside and out. I’m always amazed by how big these are whenever I see one, which is not very often.
You know what they call this? An accident. Most accidents are avoidable, doesn’t make them not accidents.
With more people WFH I don’t think expensive gas will have a 2008 like effect on the SUV and truck market. Even if it does, people likely will not be able to afford to get out of their loans. Spending an extra thousand bucks a year on gas is much cheaper than taking a 10k bath trading in your brodozer for a Prius.
The current job market heavily favors the employee. If you’re not happy at your job there’s never been a better time to find a new one.
Fender flares do not equal widebody. That is all.
Did it come with service history? I would be shocked if it had the stock EGR system and head studs after 200k. The 6.0 is stout once you remove the EGR.
