What’s the difference between this trim and the SCAT PAC (all caps because dodge and shouty). IIRC the scat pac was/is an SRT without some of the interior goodies. This looks the same with a hole in the hood and stupid stickers.

The best part is 3 years down the road the salesperson (if they’re smart) will start blowing your phone up again trying to get you to trade that old, dilapidated, antique of a 3 year old car in for a nice shiny new one.

Alfa has everything going against them. Not only do they not make terribly reliable cars, but their dealer network is a joke. I bought my Focus RS knowing it would probably be unreliable (its been in the shop 5 times in the 3,500 miles/6 months Ive owned it), but its not that inconvenient because theres 4 Ford

You guys remember that one time komododave came in here with his maths and made this entire post fake news?? Yeah, me too.

Their drivers are easy to spot. Just keep your eye out for the worst racing suit design of all time, that’s them,

The WRX is listed at 3,315 lbs. Subie’s starting getting porky around 2008.

Must have been an Air Force or local thing. We definitely slapped then pulled the mag to ensure it was seated.

We had a up armored Land Cruiser that would come in for maintenance at the Toyota dealership I worked at. It was either govt or a cartel members car (hard to tell the difference). Anyway, it was a sweet piece of kit. From more than 10 feet away the only thing that gave it away were the enormous 8 piston brembo brakes

Oh no doubt I’m sure they work fine when very clean and very well lubricated. IDK if you’ve taken a look at our AOR’s of the past decade but they’re very.....sandy. You could leave a 240 outside for a year, call it mean things, and then put 1000 rounds downrange no problem.

You can’t have the worlds best military force without the worlds best acronyms. Not sure what branch you were in, but in the AF we have acronyms for our acronyms.

I think they got rid of SPORTS, someone decided potentially unseating a magazine when trying not to die wasn’t the best idea. Last I remember it was SORTS.

Pretty much goes for every soft rubber piece under the hood as well. I think most tire manufacturers recommend replacement at 7 years... so only a few off.

What’s more impressive is they managed to find the only 249 on planet earth that can fire more than 100 rounds without a stoppage.

I’m assuming Tesla sells these with pretty grippy UHP summer tires. With that size of car an the inability to rotate I wouldn’t be surprised if they lasted <10k miles. The stock tires on my STI lasted about 6500 miles.

A decent 1600 sq foot house in a LA neighborhood where the probability of you being shot is less than “more than likely” is going to cost you 500K+ easy.

The GTI really is the best choice here. You can get a gently used top trim model with PP for well within your budget. Interior is great, tons of space for the pup, good MPG, and you can row your heart out with its silky transmission. Also out of the 5 new cars I’ve owned it was by far the most reliable.

This was a daily occurrence on the RS forum when they started hitting the states. Except instead of people being boned who had waited 2 months for a car, it was people who had waited 12+ months for a car that was spec built for them. Purchase orders and down payments hold very little legal contractual value.

Haven’t been in traffic for years. Recently drove 850 miles and my average speed was 71 MPH. Gotta love them 80 MPH speed limits.

The only cars that rev that low at cruising speed (70 MPH) are muscle cars with long final gears. Both my cars are above 2500 at 70 MPH. I get what you’re saying I guess, I just think its funny that you bought a performance car and drive it out of its power band.

No cars, except yours spend any of their time between 1000-1250 RPM’s except to idle and when getting off idle.
