I doubt it. Unless the engine/trans is available in something VERY similar it would need to be EPA’d and such.

Had an old Ford pickup come in on C4C, damn thing ran so long it caught on fire and kept running for another minute before (I assume) the fuel lines burst and it ran out of fuel.

Its not quite “free”. At least in the Sync 3 equipped RS you need to upgrade the USB ports, which is about $80 DIY. Also when I asked my lovely neighborhood dealer about it they wanted $250. I downloaded the file off the interwebz onto a 8GB USB stick and had it updated within 20 minutes. Maybe I need to play with it

There was a VW tech in a different article that said VW is paying to bring the cars back up to showroom condition, on top of offering the 5K off. Sounds like your dealer was trying to make a quick buck. Im sure theres a small amount of pent up demand for those cars, but probably not that much.

Never been in a MK7 so I couldn’t tell you. There’s only 1 VW dealer within 70 miles of me and they were unwilling to order one for me. Not a big fan of the styling though and probably wouldn’t have been different enough to justify the switch from the GTI. Don’t get me wrong the RS is an amazing car, in a batshit

The GTI is hard to beat. I went GTI > RS and I miss basically everything about the GTI with the exception of the power. The GTI didn’t need FOUR lanes to make a U-turn either. Guessing the ST/RS share a fuel tank, I can do maybe 250 miles on the highway.

Bought an STI when I was 19 (I looked about 12). Sold my Ranger for 8k and went same day to my local Subaru dealer to purchase with a big wad of cash in my pocket. Dad was going to meet me about an hour later once he got off from work to co-sign since I didnt have the credit. Sales guy walks out and tells me I cant

Cool and all, but that trailer is sitting on it’s front supports and likely jacked all the way up.

I fail to see why it matters if people know where NK is? Only people with knowledge in geography are allowed to have political opinions?

It was pretty painful watching Alonso get his metaphorical doors blown off down the straight all race.

I suspect the oil burners will have pretty good resale, baring any big reliability issues.

I sold cars for a while. I can’t stress how important it is to read contracts very thoroughly. They make them long on purpose so people won’t read them.

Accident is right in-between two blind turns. She probably had just enough time to not hit him head on.

Agree. Driver of the Impala was very lucky, if the SUV would have impacted the drivers side of the car its more than likely game over for her. Slight overlap crashes like this, especially big vs. small are worst case scenario. Good on her for having quick reflexes or for being incredibly lucky.

I-80 in either direction of Cheyenne, WY. West gets you 500 miles of 2 lane highway packed with Semi’s passing each other at a .07 MPH difference and vast nothingness until you hit SLC. Oh, and the occasional 90 MPH crosswind that blows those semi’s over. Head east into Nebraska and you get precisely the same thing,

600 hp....spacers + stock brakes. Seems legit.

I was at Miller Motorsports Park (or whatever they call it now) for the RS racing school while the GT was having its press launch on the west track last week. I can confirm that they are absolutely stunning in person and sound amazing. Someone was really driving the hell out of the burgundy one for the better part of

You’re missing the entire point of Spirit. Its like booking a night in a Motel 6. Does it have a bed? Yes. Is it comfortable? No. Will you get stabbed? Maybe.

So much this. Booked a Corolla type car specifically because I was going to be doing a lot of driving and wanted something fuel efficient. Show up and get “upgraded” to the biggest POS SUV I’ve ever driven (Dodge Journey). Terrible MPG and now I have to drive a huge boat around when I’m used to driving my little
