I live just up the road from here in WY and we get 1-2 severe hail events like this every year. I’ve become quite good at retreating to my garage or the nearest bank with drive up ATM when it looks imminent.

I had the misfortune of trying to sell them. This + a light brown with black inserts were a few of the delightful interior options...most people just went with black. Shame too, the V6 in them was actually quite good.

You want to be careful with that whole “immediately voids warranty” thing. Thanks to the Magnuson Moss warranty act, the burden of proof lies in the hands of the manufacturer. So just because you tune the car doesn’t mean the entire warranty is null. Water pump go out? Should be covered. Throw a rod through the block?

GM knows how to make some hideous interiors. These are from the Saturn Aura XR, the inserts are stamped with a weird faux alligator print.

I can’t get over the amount of times the announcers said “xx building from the 2014 winter Olympic games”. It was so forced, almost like someone had told them they needed to mention the Olympics 10x or something. Also I don’t know who they think they’re fooling, but they panned to a shot of the rollercoaster once

These can be pretty reliable depending on how much boost he’s running. That being said, it looks like it was put together on the cheap, and XXR’s are always CP.

Is it just the pics or are you running a few degrees of positive camber in the rear??

Yes! My 06 STI was a perfect place to be, nothing was there that didn’t need to be. The need for “nicer interior” has arguably killed the STI in recent years.

Toyota Matrix is an excellent choice. I’d try to find a 03-06 XRS which makes a whopping 180 hp (100 hp/liter!) and you get a sweet 6 speed manual. My cousin drove one to well over 300k miles with basic regular maintenance. Only downside is they’re relatively high compression (11+:1 IIRC) so she’ll need premium gas.

My 8 month old Labradoodle took her first flight last year as an ESA. It was terrible, you could hardly hear her sleeping over the wail of all the winy babies with their oblivious parents. It got even worse when she WOKE UP, stretched, and WENT BACK TO SLEEP, OH GOD.

Are the stills pretty close to in game graphics? I stared at the first pic (with the balloon) for like 5 minutes, its absolutely gorgeous...they even nailed the texture of the track.

I’ve been around them for a long time, and I’ve never heard them called a hummer by someone in the military. Maybe it’s before my time, the HMMWV has been around longer than me.

I did that job for a while....err the HMMWV part, not the bad ass helo pilot part.. I can confirm that those dirt roads don’t do a very good job of supporting a 8 ton HMMWV once they get saturated. They are surprisingly good at getting unstuck as long as you can keep some wheel speed. Once the wheels stop spinning

the result of a sequence of misguided corporate choices that places bragging rights ahead of public safety

Tell the truth.

His commute would need to be less than that, unless he strictly drives it to work and back. My commute is about 1.3 miles and I average around 5k a year with miscellaneous trips into town.

Agree! First couple pics I thought, man those are bad. Then I got to the night time pic and threw up my lunch. The RTR logo could be a 5" rainbow unicorn in place of the prancing horse and it would be 1000x less offensive than those damn lights.

On the subject of merging: It is 1000% not my obligation to speed up/slow down to allow someone to merge. Either slow down and merge in behind me or speed up to merge ahead of me. The only exception to this is stop and go traffic, in which case the zipper method should be observed. On ramps are generally long, there’s

This tax has nothing to do with registration fees. The cars are being registered there to avoid paying state sales tax. 1% is a mighty fine deal when CA will gladly take you to the cleaners for 8-12% depending on where you live. They can register the car in Montana, pay the 1%, then transfer the registration to their

I only hope that my RS doesn’t suffer the same fate.
