I love that SNL made Don Jr. this sort of gut bucket Patrick Bateman. Their “appearances” on Weekend Update are by far my favorite.

No, more the ones particularly about actual Native American issues. I believe I ripped into him pretty hard on that article. I guess it’s ironic that there’s still glaring examples of not good articles. :/
Sadly I’m very familiar with this site. And occasionally they do actual journalism. Nick Martin’s recent stories have been quite good. Unfortunately that is also offset by stuff like this, and anything HamNo posts.
That’s a very even-handed perspective, especially about the era when news sources were reliable.
May I ask, how do you deal with your older mom’s politics and social media stuff? My mom is in her 70s and just can’t stop with the memes and all of this Fox News/Glenn Beck (and worse) stuff. How do you manage your relationship? It’s such a struggle for me.
Correct take
Well said. I read his justifications, if you can even call them that, and almost sprained something, I was rolling my eyes so hard. It must be awfully fucking nice to be straight, is all I can say.
I can’t be friends with anyone who didn’t like that sketch.
Yep, it made no difference. The guy couldn’t see the call button, I had no way to explain to him about the purpose of the call button, and when I flagged down a flight attendant for help they said that culturally it’s not appropriate for a woman to help a man to the bathroom so they asked me if I would do it. It’s AMAZING to me how little people value their privacy and time. Give BK all your info, go out of your way wasting time, and all this to save $1.50.
yeah the whole “but look at local franchises doing this!” doesnt jive with me. they’re still putting money into chick fil a, and that money is going to their shitty corporate leaders who put that money into shitty policies.
he was really weak with saying “im lazy, i just dont care” seriously. his whole argument FOR eating there was total crap.
LOL
It just strikes me as trying to hide a preference for typical American overcooked and over sauced pasta (if only for this dish) behind pedantry and a misinterpretation of how pasta technicals work.
And, like, you can’t taste most other foods. People aren’t out there pulling pieces off the bakery rolls to make sure they’re good, or cooking up some shrimp.
Yeah. I always thought the grape tasting thing was kind of a joke, but apparently not? Like, it’s just stealing. If samples aren’t offered, sampling is stealing.
Its interesting that the new stock photo illustrates the main problem with Ziti. See those blown out noodles? That means over cooked pasta.
Is that post supposed to make a point of some kind?
Again, no fucking duh that a tip is needed. But when you boil it down, the question is asking whether the tip on the check is sufficient or not. It seems it usually is, which wasn’t clear before.
Yup, dude sounds like a chump. If my mother asked me for $20 for a meal, I’d hand it to her and apologize for not having chipped in for years before. We obviously don’t have all the info here (family dynamic and whatnot), but if your mom asking you for $20 in exchange for throwing a Thanksgiving get-together is reason…
