“Precisely my thought. Joel seeing Ellie being immune to spores is a rather important moment in the game.”

But when Joel first meets Marlene in the game he points out that the military is wiping the Fireflys out, which Marlene confirms.  So the military is definitely in control, of the Boston QZ at least.

First line of the review: “Your humble recapper is not, in any sense, a gamer.”

It’s both funny and sad to watch playthroughs of the game done back in 2013 and see gamers look at Sarah and say “This isn’t the girl on the box ... oh well, let’s see what happens.”

If they include any flashbacks of Joel and his wife, they should cast Thandie Newton.

Even though for the viewers it’s been years since Maggie became pregnant, on the show it’s only been weeks/a few months.  Most episodes only span a single day, and there aren’t a lot of time jumps of a week or longer between episodes/seasons.

The show has said since season 1 that if walker blood/guts gets into your body through a wound then it will kill you. But it’s safe to smear it on your body if you don’t have any wounds.

”Judging by things the group used to do, I would imagine they would have made some noise to try and lure some of the zombies out of the water but I guess that makes for drama/plot problems”
