The scene where Clark tries to convince Lana to stay in Smallville by telling her she’s his best friend is very sweet, even if that idea kind of came out of nowhere.”

Like most comics book stories, just assume that all the other heroes are busy with equally important super-villains.  Otherwise every S&L episode could be easily solved by having every Super-friend swoop in and help solve the situation.

“Your lead story was that we are off the air?”
“No ... but I will include that in my next update.”

Gotta dance!

LOL.

Dennings and Beth Behrs were great on an awful sitcom.  The terribleness of that show was not the fault of those two actors or their performances/chemistry.

You’re right. It’s a popular misconception (especially in this series’ comments) that almost every What If comic issue ended with “And everyone died”, “The universe exploded”, etc. This seems to be how everyone remembers that series, when actually it was only about half of the issues that had this extreme an ending.

This is a younger Shuri in this episode because it takes place years before the BP movie.  In the next BP movie (or any future Marvel movie in which she appears) she’s not suddenly going to be this pre-teen version.

Conway didn’t kill Gwen to “shake things up”.  He (and most of Marvel) hated the character and preferred Peter being with MJ.  He said that there were only 2 potential futures with Peter and Gwen - they get married (which no one wanted to do), or they get rid of her.  It’s no surprise that after Gwen’s death Conway

Not sure when this conversation with Mahershala Ali took place (or was released) but Cooper already confirmed this 2 weeks ago on the Late Show with Colbert.

Even though I’m watching these episodes months later, I’m pretty sure it was common knowledge at the time in entertainment news that the character of Constantine was leaving the show here, but that Matt Ryan was staying with the show and would continue as a new character in the next season.  The show-runners were

It feels like this was Astra’s and Spooner’s plan/solution to how to both (a) prevent Spooner’s mother from being killed, and (b) preserving the existing timeline. Spooner originally was all-in for killing the miners and saving her mother, allowing her child-self to grow up with her mother.  But Astra convinced her

Just have the 7 Dwarves live in a condominium complex where they each live in their own unit.  Problem solved.

In China, the final episode of Quantum Leap ended with the title card “Sam Beckett made it home and lived happily ever after.”

Lana’s husband was Edge’s biggest spokesperson, convincing everyone to believe Edge and invite him in with open arms.

I can confirm that the episode that aired in Canada included the missing scene other commenters are talking about (where the deputy explains why the kids were arrested for trespassing on private property, even though when Lana was a kid she went to that bridge all the time).

I’m assuming that the Smallville Police Department are on high alert now, since half of the town was just brainwashed and turned into alien assassins.

I too was distracted during Chrissy’s scenes by her awful haircut.

Easy fix:  after the Battle of New York in Avengers 1, there was lots of destruction to NY so when Stark helped rebuild the city he improved Grand Central by adding additional train routes, including a train to/from New Jersey.
