It’s alright. Not a fan of white interiors - I imagine they look nice for about three days. I was initially impressed with the apparent cargo capacity until I noticed the high load floor. Combined with the swoopy rear hatch, it now looks kinda limited. Would it kill automakers to make a few wagons again?

Envista, Avenir.... Where are they coming up with these horribly forgettable names? They’d have been better off calling it the Wildcat, even though it is not remotely wild or feline. At least the moniker would be familiar/memorable.

Clearly it was a nice enough price for someone. I voted NP too, based on mileage, overall condition, and the restraint the owner showed regarding mods. Might actually be a real CAI. It’s not for me, though.

Are we talking about Houston in July, or the numbers cited in the article?

Very nice.  The best looking generation of the Tacoma

Fair enough! Though too many giant SUVs roam the streets in my locale. One of these would get caught in their undercarriage, like a piece of corn stuck between your teeth.

Many of the cars presented in NPOND at least prompt me to consider their pros and cons. But this is a tiny, spartan deathtrap that I do not want at any price. ND for me.

They could do worse. I’m sure the next gen will get a turbo 4. Thus I plan on keeping my Gen 5 dinosaur til the end of time.

Why do people make up “facts” like these?

I have zero interest in buying anything new, as most of it is simply unaffordable for me now. I guess I’ll be driving my dinosaur 4Runner for a long time.

So the basis of the article was to complain that you can’t drive a manual anymore?  I guess you’ll live anyway....

I see lists of the most targeted vehicles all the time. While this is good information, it would really be helpful to understand WHY these cars are being targeted. I just searched for that very topic, and found nothing.

The biggest surprise is that Kia has sold more than 188,000 K5s.

I love wagons and manuals, and I like the look of Saabs from this era. Would consider buying something like this from a private party, but 100% no dice for anything offered by a shady BHPH dealer.  Especially at this price.

Reprehensible on the part of whoever tampered with the machine.  I don’t blame the dealership though.  They were caught in the middle, and did the best they could by taking the appropriate action and reaching out to the affected customers.  The notion that it was their fault, and should have “looked into it, and seen

Just use two spots.  Problem solved.

Ferrari Mustang? Silicone Valley? Please hand your paper to someone else in the class to check before you hand it in.

Seems like a case of premature reporting. Yes, a Tesla slammed into a fire engine. We don’t yet know why. The elephant in the room is self-driving. If the driver was not in control of the vehicle, it’s going to be a big deal. Otherwise the story could just as easily be <insert random make> plowed into a fire engine.

You are correct, sir! A 125HP POS.  Esmlie was being generous at 135.

But $14000 AND you’ll probably have to replace the engine? Doesn’t add up.
