I imagine most of the complaints about the Slayer deal came from the general image of Slayer. Despite the name, Killswitch is a fairly mild band in terms of lyrical concepts and themes. A lot of their songs could be considered uplifting or positive. Also Adam D is just a ridiculous human being with his silly outfits

Yes! He and I talked about this back in Foxborough.

I don’t envy that. Although I love hearing Tom’s stories so that’s a plus.

Gotcha. I think the unfortunate element with what happened to Scott here was just landing to flat. There’s not much you can do when the frame is the main point of contact.

Suspension seats are not used in monster trucks. You can’t keep them in sync with the actual suspension of the vehicle. They actually make the situation much worse. Containment seats like the ones from ISP or Butler are the standard today.

There’s really not much padding to the seats. Padding compresses and allows you to move which you don’t want to do. You let the shocks do the work.

No sane monster truck driver has used a suspension seat in a long time. They’re terrible if they get out of sync with the truck suspension and actually make the impacts much worse. Almost everyone uses some form of containment seat like an ISP or Butler. Custom fitted to reduce movement as much as possible and reduce

Thanks for checking out the show in Arlington. I was lucky enough to have a hand in it. Thankfully we’ve always sold really well there.

As for Anaheim, they’ve been plagued with bad weather this year and I think that’s lead to some folks being reluctant to attend. A couple of the dates ended up being total mud fests as

Not anymore. The only exceptions I’ve seen allowed were trucks that were only in one event, or were unable to swap tires before an event due to travel issues. Otherwise BKTs have to be used.

Monster Jam is owned by Feld Entertainment. It’s a multi billion dollar company. They definitely have a legal team in house too.

Chandler really doesn’t do much, if anything with the day to day operations of Bigfoot anymore. Prior to this deal, the biggest hurdle in the way was Bigfoot’s sponsorship with Firestone and Monster Jam’s BKT Tires sponsorship. They couldn’t coexist there. Otherwise it probably would’ve happened by now. The players in

Considering the Monster Jam line was a massive cash cow for Mattel, I don’t think it’s that big of a stretch that they decided to partner with a new promotion after their deal with Monster Jam ended. As far as I understood it, the new promotion isn’t owned by Mattel themselves but just the title sponsor.

Grave Digger and all of Monster Jam identities aren’t available to be booked elsewhere. It’s been that way since 2011. Given Bigfoot’s partnership with Hot Wheels now, you won’t ever see them in Monster Jam again

Considering Monster Jam is probably the third most attended motorsports series in this country, they’re very much still a thing.

Do it. As a Canes fan (some of us do exist) it was brutal losing one of the only quality players we’ve had in ages. As much as I dislike the Sabres, I’m happy to see Skinner really flourishing. It’s amazing what he can do when he’s not the only offensive threat the other team has to worry about.

Small town junkie that cashes a bad check is far from being a major drug dealer. If it was any significant amount in her possession the police would’ve reported that. There’s no kind of intent to distribute charge listed either. They had her on camera at the bank. Somebody could probably have easily found out who she

I think I was at Terminal A last week when I flew through there. Totally sucks. Food options are meh at best. I considered venturing over to another terminal but I didn’t have enough time to do so.

Certainly respect your input and response. I must’ve lumped someone else’s mention of wheel tethers with your comment. Of the clips I watched from a couple previous races over in Australia I’ve seen that at least in those instances where they were jumping around the height of the fences the jumps had a fair amount of

You do realize there’s no one permitted to be on the bridge during racing right? It’s unfortunate that the wreck did happen, but there’s only so much you can do when a wheel breaks like it did. There’s nothing a tether can do in that situation. It could happen to any motorsport vehicle and while a wheel may not get
