It is the way of our people.
It is the way of our people.
The best part is that he seems completely unaware of what’s going on around him: “So...you’re place or mine? Why are all these people running?”
Keep Calm And Hold My Beer
That one asshole literally assaulted a reporter and was elected instead of arrested.
The death threats aren’t half of it- she works in state government and was told she’d lose her job if she decides to campaign against King because it would be eliminated due to “budget cuts.” They literally did the “nice job you got, hate to see anything happen to it” to her
“First non-valedictorian”
That ship fucking sailed when David Duke was a viable candidate for governor in Louisiana. And it sank when enough people voted for Donald Trump, who is either a white nationalist or is extremely comfortable sucking up to them and putting them in positions of power
Ofsteve.
Steve King NEEDS to be out of his job. An open white supremacist has no fucking business getting a single fucking vote. Republicans want to say that these kind of people don’t represent them but they continue to show me otherwise.
I cannot wait to see the karmic backlash from all this MAGA horse shit. It will be epic....if we are all still alive to see it happen.
I thought 2016 was the year that boasted the motto “Stay in your lane ladies!” but evidently 2017 wants that one too.
What a despicable piece of shit with that tweet.
I do make fanny packs happen - I never stopped wearing them. Look, I have always given zero fucks about what I’m “supposed to do” in terms of women’s fashion, so I have always used utilitarian things when I needed a utilitarian thing, even if it’s not “pretty” to the masses. I go to lots of art fairs and festivals…
Yeah, I’m pretty sure that over the last 10 years I’ve seen multiple effigies of Obama and Hillary burned at various events. None of those times did I hear that the Secret Service was going to do an investigation. Got to love the country we find ourselves living in these days, huh?
I agree. As soon as this happened I saw a lot of outrage online posts, actually mostly from liberals, saying that the last thing we need right now is for Alec Baldwin to “glorify” and “praise” or even “endorse” what Griffin did. Except that he doesn’t even do that here. Basically what he says is “mistakes happen, and…
Same. She did not threaten the president, she did not harm the president, and he is surely not the first president to have been punished in effigy. So what if people think it’s tasteless? It may be that, but it’s certainly not worth the Secret Service investigation or any of that. President Titty Baby is out of order…
Alec Baldwin’s been raked over the coals in the press so many times (sometimes justifiably) and not only survived, but come back out on top again, that at this point he’s pretty much bullet proof. Along with doing the absolutely perfect Trump caricature, he’s the ideal person to publicly jab at Trump.
Only after every conservative commentator who’s crucifying Kathy right now comes out and condemns all the horrible Obama lynching etc photos out there, should Kathy have apologized.
I have to disagree with Hannah here. Putting it up on twitter was exactly the right move. Someone needed to say all that publicly.
I would also like to make fanny packs happen, although I’d probably go for the low-slung-across-my-hips look. I need my hands free dammit!
