I love how they are like “she’s a great actor and person, you shouldn’t be racist to her.”  For the record, people shouldn’t be racist to her even if she were the world’s worst actor.

For the sake of brevity I left it at that but, yeah. That era where on several occasions Chappelle would stop the show cold and just sit there and smoke cigarettes until his time ran out. That was all about the contempt that he had for the audience cultivated by the popularity of the show.

I agree, a better comic could take the subject matter and actually say something funny and interesting. In the Carlin doc he does a pretty extensive bit about how any topic can be funny. It’s not that the topic is off limits but you can only cross that line if it’s funny.  Neither of these guys has an interesting take…

Logan Lucky is far and away the best movie filmed in my neighborhood.

Logan Lucky is a gem.  Its not to be missed.

Looking forward to this but only commenting to echo that yes, Logan Lucky, more people need to appreciate that movie.

Agreed. From the few surving scenes, I have the impression that the original Phil Lord/Chris Miller version of “Solo” was supposed to be a lot more comedic than what we eventually got. I really would have liked to that version.

Yes, love me some Core. And yeah, League is very bad and dumb but incredibly watchable. 

This movie is up there with The Core and Twilight for being absolutely dreadful yet unbelievably watchable. And boy howdy, the CGI in this has aged like a rotting corpse. It’s so bad. But I can’t not watch it when I see it on tv.
