Even in NYC (am a white nyc resident on medicaid w/mental health issues & suboxone maintenance)... The situation is infuriating. A couple years ago, was seeking therapy & psych treatment not far from home--in Harlem—& they said there was a Waiting list. WTF? You can’t refer people downtown a bit?
