Well, one characteristic of “America’s Greatness” that DJT & friends keep trying to sink, is that the US is a “melting pot” that flourishes because it is comprised of peoples & cultures from all points of the globe. That was the drift of my old-person’s HS textbooks, at least ;).

This has always bugged me. “Liberal” hasn’t shifted much from meaning “generosity” & “open-mindedness. “Conservative values,” though, is now just a war cry for me-firsters, bible/moroni-thumpers, & a suspicious horde of ignorant, angry, & fearful followers. Maybe they need to find a new word?
