Would be great to get a recommendation for exactly how wild to let the lawn get. I don’t water and don’t totally care about my lawn looking great. However, ticks and Lyme are a serious issue here. Part of keeping the ticks at bay is keeping the lawn somewhat in check.
Good luck!
Thanks for your perspective.
I’d say that science itself may strive to represent absolutes and relatives but communicating those ideas is going to be different for a blog than a scientific journal. That’s why I disagree with your contention of the use of the term “direct”.
I think my main objection is your quick jump…
Curious what you think of the following - let’s say the topic was smoking. Would you fault an article with the reminder: “Smoking Causes Cancer”?
To me, it’s a fine point. Cause and effect are as strongly correlated as they’re going to get. Also, I’m going to be a cynic and say that many people, unless you’re direct,…
How the hell is this show recommending “white genocide”? I love the fact that Netflix premiered the show on April 28th but this person posts that the show features “white genocide” on February 8th.
Hey, thanks for this piece. It’s pretty inspiring. I love the fact that you highlight a few different approaches and what worked for you.
lol - a possibility!
Trolls gonna troll.
I don’t know how they do it but Edimax makes reliable wifi dongles cheaply. When they go on sale, I pick them up to keep around just in case. Unexpected wifi card problems or old devices that don’t have a wifi option or ethernet port goes bad - jam an edimax wifi dongle in and you’re usually good to go in minutes.…
no worries - have a great weekend!
Maybe the number of tech projects isn’t as high lately but I can’t fault Lifehacker for a dyed egg how-to just before Easter weekened.
Wow. this is crazy. I have had the ringing for not quite 20 years and this is the first time it’s gone quiet.
So would you recommend against bothering with it?
I believe potassium iodide is useful in any kind of nuclear issue so it’s slightly more useful than just a dirty bomb scenario. Tablets were handed out after Fukushima to nearby residents. Helps stave off different types of radiation injury as well as some types of cancer. And it’s pretty cheap considering what it…
You would think some high profile alumni would get involved. That would make a story in itself.
In addition to what you listed and perhaps most importantly, he lucked out in being bailed out multiple times and then spun that as being “savvy”. Had anyone left him swing on his own after over-extending himself, he wouldn’t have been able to create the myth of his self-made millions.
interesting. thanks - but wait, you can’t do hives at all with west coast bumblebees? or even bee hotels?
HA! I hear you - on the flipside we need them for all teh food
brilliant helpful writeup.
also, You can actually start bumblebee hives but it’s a harder sell because there’s no honey payout and I believe they’re slightly harder to start.
Some states have apiary departments and I wonder if reaching out to your state government can help make a difference
