Heard that argument in St. Louis and Milwaukee. Good old reliable midwestern racism.

When I worked in politics in WI the #1 donor to the governors was, surprise, the road builders. This was the GOP. When the Democratic candidate was the favorite, the #1 donor: the road builders. In the Midwest, mass transit was big city, coastal and elitist. Race played into it too. Have to pay off your donors and rep

I was living in Milwaukee when the Bucks traded Dirk’s draft rights for Robert Traylor. I called into a radio station and said they’d regret it (more for how Traylor would never keep his weight down). The guy laughed at me. He’s probably still on the station that stopped broadcasting at sundown.

Shake Shack that close would have killed me. I remember crossing Queens Blvd to my gym and over there it was all Russian. We had packs of these Russian douchebag high school kids who joined my gym and pretty much ruined it. I loved running through FH Gardens and it’s cool to see that the tennis stadium has been

agreed. I’m not in NYC anymore. I thought it was going to be worse than it was when I moved out there. What was the worst part were those damn apartment brokers. I find a place on CraigsList, you show up and get upwards of 15% of the annual rent? My wife and I saw a cool brownstone near CPW and decided to take it.

Queens isn’t that bad - I had a really nice place in Forest Hills that was really affordable and 1 block from the subway. Manhattan was only affordable because I was able to get the roaches to kick in their share of the rent.

take off, you hoser.

I have access to 8 restrooms in the building where my office.  I’ll take work day dumps in one of the relatively unused ones and scroll through Twitter. It makes me feel like the President of the United States...except for the tweeting.

is there any other one?

I’ve been there a few times and have friends from there who still long for a return of the Nordiques. While Quebec may not have a large population what they have is a loyal fan base who will go. Even when they were a complete dumpster fire in the last 80's and early 90's they were drawing over 95% capacity to the

yep.  If his last name were “Summer” he’d be offering you a great deal on a Chevy Cruz.

I was traveling with my parents in Ireland and one night my mom woke me up and told me to move to an empty room in the B&B where we were staying - apparently I was grinding my teeth so loudly it woke her up and it went on the entire vacation. I’ve work a mouth guard ever since. I tried to OTC ones and it didn’t work

I followed the “soap and water only” instruction and mine got pretty disgusting so I started using denture tabs. No damage that I can tell but I can’t get a lot of the stains off.

I know all about Trump. Have read some books on the USFL and saw the 30 for 30. In fact, a Michigan Panthers game was my first professional football game attended (2nd grade) and they actually won a championship (and more playoff games in one year than the Lions have since 1957). I was being a bit facetious.

mine was too, but made in Canada.

the sad thing is the USFL could have worked.  Why did they fail again?

The XFL starts next year.

BTW, Joey was part owner (and the face) of a restaurant in Portland, in a major entertainment area. Like his time with the Lions, he kept calling audibles and checking down on the concept (sports bar/steakhouse to high end sports bar and others) and the place was sacked in less than two years. The place that replaced

I don’t remember Joey doing that but I do remember Ty Detmer throwing 7 against the Browns. The Browns...
