These are the 2 statements I keep seeing bandied about as if they were simple solutions by people with no real understanding of the realities behind them. They are definitely doable, and I hope they will become the norm, but we are nowhere near accomplishing them at anything close to the scale required any time soon.

Prepay didn’t used to be the norm in the USA. Until I was in my 20s there was always the option to pump first then go inside to pay. This practice stopped (at least in my area) in the early 2000s after gas prices went from less than $2 per gallon to over $4 sometimes $5 at the pump.

This site never posts any news on all of the successful flights. But you bet your ass they’re gonna post every sub optimal landing.

Many states specify it’s illegal to camp out in the left lane and impede the flow of traffic and also specify that this includes doing so while going the speed limit. Many also specify that it is illegal to remain in the left lane after becoming aware of a vehicle behind you travelling at a faster speed.

That first overhead shot of the bed took this instantly off of my interest list. Narrowing the internal dimensions of the bed at the tailgate like that severely limits it’s utility.

Man, I hope whatever new version they’re planning will offer the higher trim models with split doors. I want a Titanium but they only come with the lift gate. The split doors on my lower trim model have been beyond amazing.

Do you have the same issue I do where the gas mileage is pretty good on highways but drops way off on the interstate? I always assumed it was due to the van being intended for city use so the gear ratios were configured for efficiency at lower speeds, but I’m curious what other’s experiences are.

Anyone else think that was a pair of bluetooth speakers before reading the headline?

Far rather have a center console than that horrid infotainment screen.
