It probably has a lot to do with the venn diagram of people who put a lot of miles on vehicles vs people who buy electric vehicles doesn’t intersect that much. I average 20-30K in a non Covid year. A lot of that on trips that are 200-400 miles one way.
A lot of my co-workers drive 80-100 miles a day to commute. Even…
I’m never going make a purchase that takes 3-5 years to pay off sight unseen from a website. Especially for a car. I don’t buy a car because it’s pretty or because of specs on paper. I spent 2 years and test drove 10 vehicles to find my current ride. Heck, even 3 cars of the same make and model built on the same day…
WD-40 is not a lubricant. It is also not a penetrating fluid. It may provide temporary mild lubrication, but that squeak will return again shortly. There are plenty of spray lubricants out there that are actually made to lubricate.
Came here for this. Natural lighting causes more energy consumption in the warm months. Go sit next to a sunny window even if it’s still a bit chilly and you are likely going to start sweating after 5-15 minutes. Your A/C burns way more energy than your lights.
A facebook post from a friend-of-a-friend cleared up that mystery for me. Her post started with “Why do I have to turn on my headlights just because it’s raining? I can see just fine.” It’s pure ignorance. People like us figure it out because we pay attention to what other cars are doing. Other’s need it explained to…
All of the “Aluminum Free Deodorant” hype is (insert PC term for “BS” that I can’t think of here). It’s marketing BS to get people to pay $20 for something that should cost $4. You can get aluminum free deodorant in any dollar store or gas station for 1/10th these prices.

So much this. People in my town have a heavy tendency to throw it in reverse and immediately back out into the street without looking. I have an instinctual reaction when I see reverse lights fire up on a parked car. I feel like a moron after braking or swerving only to see nobody in the vehicle.
You wouldn’t believe how many I can fit in one of these.
This thing already screams converted cargo van to me, only with the fugly grills we get from large trucks and luxury SUVs. I already have a 7 seat vehicle that has command seating and takes up less space than a sedan. 2014 Ford Transit connect. And it looks way better than this thing. Although I would love to see a…
I have owned Trucks, cars, SUVs, and vans. I can very honestly say there are use cases for trucks.
Is anyone else having a problem with Amazon rejecting the code for the Eufy bulbs?

And now you can’t smash out the windows to rescue a trapped driver.
Spoken like the 90% of people on the road who don’t know how to back up properly. And good luck trying to back a trailer around a curve.
I drive it.
Absolutely this. I love my Transit Connect. I have had a small economical car for 10 years and became sick of borrowing trucks and SUVs from family members on a regular basis to haul stuff. I have no kids. I started out looking for a minivan and came across a used 2nd gen Connect at a local dealer and instantly fell…
The tow rating is lower here due to many reasons. The big 2: Weight distribution standards, speed limits. Just because you can get it moving doesn’t mean it’s safe. European standards tend to have the trailer wheels farther forward meaning less tongue weight which can cause the trailer to become less stable…
Have they provided any excuse for making the truck so horridly proportioned?
