It’s a fucking great movie, pardon my French.

Tremors is hands down a great monster movie.  It does everything right.  Honestly most of the sequels are watchable as well.

It’s literally one of my favorites and everyone I say that to looks at me like I’m nuts. It’s the best, and he’s the best in it.

He and Kevin Bacon were an excellent pair in that film. Michael Gross and the rest of the cast were no slouches either!

“Tremors” is one great movie. So watchable and fun. RIP Earl Bassett.

Well, Mark Wahlberg isn’t in this movie, so it gets a higher grade than Father Stu. What are you complaining about here?

AV Club existential crisis over here!

You must have a thing for dudes with punchable faces

Am I the only person who’s legitimately 30-70% less likely to watch this for the simple reason that Miles Teller is in it in a major role? It’s fine if it’s just me.

Which sucked, because Diane Simmons’ and Tom Tucker’s banter were one of the greatest things about the show.

The trailer for this already has stuff that’s at least as gnarly as anything in Videodrome (which for me isn’t even the most extreme Cronenberg as far as body horror goes, but that’s definitely a matter of what squicks you out more).

Peter: Is there any nudity in it?

Wouldn’t a better AV Club headline be:

Honestly, not really. I watched through all the MCU through to Infinity War—after starting with Doctor Strange, in fact. Some of them absolutely needed that homework; the Captain America sequels, naturally most of the Avengers movies. And there’s definitely a category of ‘you’ll be a little lost if you aren’t watching
