I basically like almost all the stuff but don’t ‘love’ it exactly. Endgame was overlong and Thanos’s whole plan was amazingly stupid compared to the Infinity Gauntlet comics.

I’m with you but I don’t see it happening.
Jesus, I cannot wait until this Marvel thing dies down.
I loved those New Adventures cartoons. Almost as much as the late 60s Spiderman cartoons. Which gives me an excuse to watch (and share the opening credits with the jazziest theme in super hero cartoons).
Everyone on Jalopnik predicted years ago that 9 would see them drag racing a car into space, and then that actually happened. I dunno how you can top that. Even for a “jumping the shark” moment, it’s crazier than literally jumping a shark. Maybe they can do a crossover with The Meg? The only way to stop the rampaging…
Haha! Thanks! My six-year-old self thanks you! My fav part of the episode (if memory serves) was the flip on the classic, “Super friends contacted by the government for help scene.”
That year, I decided I was going to be “Evil Superman” for halloween and bought some of those awful, greasy make-up markers to give myself the black shading around his eyes.
I’m sure it’d be painful now. But Super Friends were must see TV for me. I don’t remember particularly disliking any of the characters. But it bothered me that the voices were off from what I was used to from other shows / cartoons.
Yeah, the Evil Universe episode was classic!
One of my favorites was where two of the Super Friends were sent back in time to pre-historic Earth, so they calculated the future location of the Hall of Justice and buried their communicator so that the Super Friends would get the signal and determine exactly where in the past they were based on the age of the rock.…
Must be Wendy and Marvin fans.
In a podcast interview with Stephen Amell that I saw a while ago, Caity Lotz said that she was unhappy at the beginning of the first season of LoT that she was at the bottom of the call sheet despite Sara being a more established DC TV character than most of the others. She complained to her agent, but resolved to…
The turning point for the success of the show I believe, even more than embracing a funnier tone, was promoting Sara to be captain & Caity to be essentially the star of the show
I know! Heard had to prove in the UK courts that she was telling the truth. So what if she has had bizarre and/or violent behavior as well? That doesn’t invalidate what was done to her. Like, I have no horse in this race, but this shit is bonkers.
Mentioning that a UK judge ruled that Depp assaulted Heard on a dozen occasions and put her life in jeopardy at least three of those times just isn’t worth Jezebel’s time, it seems. For the love of god, please remember that sometimes imperfect women are victims of domestic violence and still deserve support.
The release date has gotten moved around. I’m also surprised that in an article discussing the Dr. Strange sequel there was no mention that Derrickson directed the first one.
I love that you’re all “we don’t know the facts” in the same post as assuming the nature of the joke and guessing at Palmer’s sense of humor.
Woman. You can just say woman. “Female” is so weird.
I mean, an entire production was shut down. People lost their jobs. It might be a little important.
I am going to try to be grateful for what a precious, unlikely gift seven seasons of this show was rather than dwelling on how unjust its cancellation without even an announced final season was.
