Yeah, that’s the argument and the only alleged advantage.

It doesn’t have square wheels for the square wheel wells.
Well, the Art and Science design language is played out. Softer lines a la CT6 would be better. Make it a touch wider than the ATS width with an extra few inches of wheelbase for a usable back seat, and I think they would be good. Offer a wagon (or raised Allroad style wagon if it means they build a wagon). Use the…
In Toronto, it is hands down the Toyota Corolla, usually a couple generations old. If there is a car in the left lane doing 30km/h slower than the rest of traffic, a Corolla is likely the culprit.
Easy to say without melanoma prone skin...
Wind, solar and hydro power all have underutilized capacity, as they are an on-demand system unlike nuclear’s always on.
The Porsche thing isn’t a big deal because their SUV’s and the Panamera are extraordinary. They are the volume sales so they can continue to build their sports cars. Their SUV’s don’t diminish the brand, they reinforce it by being the top of their respective classes.
The Wrangler is the only real Jeep, but the GC is an amazing SUV too. The rest of the CUV line up, I agree - they blow...
My company has about 350 vehicles all through a third party fleet management company. Giving each employee a choice would be a logistical nightmare. So needless to say I have no say in what I get. The good news is I don’t pay a cent for it, even for personal use.
I have a Ford Edge company vehicle. I (rather my employer) averages just over $400 a month in maintenance and repairs for that POS since the warranty ran out. It’s a 2013 and 110,000km or 68,000 miles. It also averages 20.8mpg. That’s what this “cheap to fix” domestic cost to keep on the road - I’d rather roll the…
If it was in America, the car would be stripped of all useful parts... Oh wait, it a Versa. Never mind...
Meh. I think they did a decent job on the design and I sort of get why they are doing these. The trunk openings were starting to get ridiculously small with the more aerodynamic rear windscreen, but it doesn’t buy you any more interior space and is no better looking than the sedan. I’d rather a legitimate wagon.
Yup. Zero interest in Harley Davidson. Big, heavy, unwieldy, rolling gynecological examination tables.
You could not have summed up my sentiments of the H2 (and H3) any more succinctly.
Toureg is an SUV with 4 wheel drive. The Atlas is a car based CUV with faux wheel drive. Drive chain vs viscous clutch. Off road capable vs dirt road capable, 7200lb vs 5000 lb towing. Yes, please vs no thanks.
Nein. The Atlas has an MBQ platform, the same FWD based platform under the golf, new tiguan, Q3 etc. The Q7 uses an MLB2 plaform along with the Q5, A4, A8. It’s longitudinally mounted.
Please, no one watch his videos, he should not be paid for his stupidity. He’s not much brighter than the “Cash Me Outside” simpleton.
Avocado Toast? Have you been reading the Garth’s blog?
There are much better examples available. Same money - much better condition:
