I would never have considered it either until a year or so ago; they really are that good now. But for arguments sake, its in the price realm of M3 and C63 too. Don’t get me wrong, I like this TT. Just not enough at this price given better alternatives.

It’s still $65k, and no matter how much tech and engineering you throw at it, it will still be a FWD based car with 59% on the front wheels, and a less than stellar polar moment of inertia. (The further the weight from the axis, the less it wants to turn, it’s basic physics.) Don’t get me wrong. I have a Golf, and

Waaay to much money for a FWD based car. There is a very long list of better cars for the money.

You can count on it being a Corolla being the Left Lane bandit.

Baklava doesn’t keep me warm, but does make me fat...

You’re gonna love my nuts...

For the love of god, not a convertible! Cheap, fun convertibles can already be had with the Miata. Us melanin deprived folks want a roof!

Ugh. Agreed. I hadn’t seen the new one. Can the logo be any bigger?

By then I was 30 and waay past my first car. I’d have a long list of stocks I’d buy if only I knew then... Amazon, Apple and Google. Maybe even Bre-X had I known when to get out...

One cylinder is misfiring.

Don’t buy a car, dump that $10g’s into Yahoo stock and turn it into $300,000. Yahoo IPO was about the time I bought my car.

I find the new Benz designs look like they have been baked a little too long and melted. I hate that the head and taillights are so blob looking. Now they all look like the CLA now, which I detest. The notable exception is the AMG-GT.

Perhaps anyone the acknowledges the absurdity of the supercar market. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good Ferrari or Lambo BBQ as much as the next guy but get excited by what I can actually attain. These will drop to under $40k and I can buy one. Even if said Italians drop below $40k I cannot afford one.

I’m a huge fan of vag too. Uh, I mean the cars.

GM’s truck drive train is pretty robust but the rest of the truck (bodies, suspension, steering, brakes and interior bits are really craptastic. I hope post bankruptcy that has changed.

Torque is a product of primarily displacement. You can get 427CI of crate engine in a package small enough to be put in cars built solely for a dohc 4 cylinder.

Worth it.

I would have loved to see the Porsche 4.0 TT from the Panamera out front instead of the Ford. Other than that, love it!

The best I can get to is $71,599 in Canuck bucks, or about $54,500US. I have no idea how they got to $73g.

Imagine that, round wheel arches!! Of all the generations to take styling cues from, the 67-72 Silverado should have been it.
