As for mileage, driven normally the supercharge has minimal effect on consumption as boost is bypassed. Drive it hard and expect it to use fuel commensurate with performance.

But the transmission is designed and manufactured by ZF. They make some of the best transmissions in the world. Specifically the 8-speed slushbox for BMW’s, Audi, Aston Martin, Jag, Range Rover, Rolls Royce, Bentley, Alfa Romeo and Maserati... oh and Dodge).

I like your taste, and I’ve spent many nights lusting over Autotrader listings for a Cayman; it’s my idea of a perfect sports car. But I won’t buy a pre-DFI Cayman (2009) because of the IMS issues. Buying an older one runs the risk of needing a new engine. I can get a 2014 BRZ Tech package with 60,000km for listed at

I respectfully disagree. Clean and tidy install with 240whp and 186 wtq. No torque dip either...

I always thought the same but my experiences with them were very different. I had a 2006 Buick Allure (LaCrosse) that consumed a lot of oil by 100,000km, I was shocked to have the low oil light come on 3000km after an oil change when I’ve always been religious about my vehicle maintenance. There were no leaks, so it

The Eclipse has been a steaming pile of excrement for more than a decade. By 2008 there were less than 7000 a year North America wide, and tanking drastically from there in subsequent years.

Sounds about right!

Ontario’s 407 is over $46 each direction to bypass Toronto taking it end to end during rush hour. It is the alternate route to our illustrious 401, North America’s busiest highway. Running the full length, it would pay for itself in a day and a half here.

A guy is driving down the highway in his BMW. It’s a sunny and warm Friday afternoon, and the inevitable cherries light up in the rear view mirror. Apparently he didn’t realize he was doing 25 over. He hits the throttle, thinking his car can easily outrun a cruiser. 70, 80 90... and then he comes to his senses and

Looks like a fantastic driveline donor!

True, but VW is already paying north on $20B for that faux pas.

He could short the stock before the comments. Cha Ching!!

The 1994 model was the last Eclipse I liked. From 1995 to 1999 was too swoopy and from 2000 on, it decided to chase the Accord Coupe market with what was is essentially a two door Galant. Problem was the Accord was better in every conceivable measure.

Designed and built in the USA with around 70% american manufactures parts, which is as high as GM, Chrysler and Ford. The majority of the profits go to the owners, which would be the share holders located all over the world including the USA. This is no different than any other manufacturer including the “domestic”

While I agree their older product is um, shit... they do have some good products, especially after the ZF trans were used (provided you put them in park)

Nickelback is far more popular in the US than in Canada. Most Canadians like them about as much as Beiber, which is to say we don’t.

Wow, so many options... I’m feeling pretty good about my list though:

Both of those are dreadful...

They make two. They are called the Ghibli and the Quattroporte.

He was seriously punishing those tires the entire lap. I’ve never heard so much tire squeal. Some serious code brown moments too if I were in the car...
