Seriously. If they’re not bringing Game Pass to Switch (a guy can dream), I might just pick one up for that alone.

People typically think of lithium batteries the same as they do lead acid or what’s in their phone. Thing is, EV cells don’t degrade over time like lead acid does; they degrade due to heat, high charge/discharge rate(1) and cycle count(2). This is due to the formation of damage or surface imperfections on the cathode,

Damn man, I checked the numbers and it isn’t even close.

Not particularly knowledgeable on lithium batteries I take it...

It is something to consider on a road trip, which we’ve taken many more of since purchasing a used long-ish range EV. But even with kids, it’s not horrible to wait 20 minutes for sufficient charge to continue on your way.

I had an ‘85 as my winter beater in high school. I love these cars.

I was irrationally happy when I woke up to the news that this was coming to Switch Online. This despite the fact that I’ve probably gotten an hour into the game, total, in all these years.

They ready did one about not hearing: It’s called Pontypool.

Once the infrastructure is there and EVs become more ubiquitous, there should and will be taxes on alt fuel vehicles. Until then, measures like this will only discourage EV adoption. That said, you’re proposing a flat fee, not a usage fee. Drivers pay the gas tax based on gallons burned; similarly, EVs should be taxed

The VP of my division recently “strongly suggested” that we work 4 hours of unpaid OT a week. I’m now trying to figure out if I can write the Nintendo Switch off as a work-related expense.

You’d be surprised to find that a large percentage of ultra runners transitioned from really, really slow road runners into essentially hikers.

Only jokes, my dude. I’m in love with Vermont (I live out west).

Does it matter? You can traverse the state in 45 minutes.

Not trying to score points, I was merely pointing out that the public assumption of introverts being socially awkward needs to end. This guy had something far more insidious going on.

Introvert != socially awkward

I think they’re referring more to the ability of the government and large corporations to swiftly bring to an end any individual’s attempts to become independent. In this case, corporations and the government have conspired to prevent neighbors from sharing their independently-acquired resources, otherwise known as

Leave it to a Bay Area brewery to jump on the latest bandwagon.

God yes! I dropped out of my first ultra, which was through some absolutely stunning scenery, not because I couldn’t go on or that it was too hard or anything, but rather because I was bored out of my skull. The joke was on me, though: it took longer to get a ride the last 8 miles than I could’ve run it.

Great reply, thanks a ton. Jumping on the pre-order bandwagon now.

I played a dozen or so hours of Symphonia, and loved it. Is this as good?
