God yes! I dropped out of my first ultra, which was through some absolutely stunning scenery, not because I couldn’t go on or that it was too hard or anything, but rather because I was bored out of my skull. The joke was on me, though: it took longer to get a ride the last 8 miles than I could’ve run it.

No human with a soul hates the Winter Olympics. Part of the reason I love it so much is that I used to do a lot of the same stuff* when I lived in a cold climate! Another being that you don’t get to see the events as much as those in the summer games.
