I lived in the East Bay from 1992-1997 for 7th grade thru graduation. My Dad worked for Blue Cross of CA at the time and would bring their office season tix home so I could pick a game for each team at the beginning of the season before people claimed them for clients. To me, it was the coolest thing ever.
God damn. This breaks my heart, at least in part because it’s so close to my experience growing up as a Niners/Giants fan. I was at the last Niners game at Candlestick and my father (a long time season ticket holder) actually purchased his physical seats (they’re in his garage right now).
You might look closer at my profile pic and find that it isn’t what you think. My name is my name. Sorry if you didn’t like my comment. I tried hard to make sure that it wasn’t offensive, but it was a genuine question.
Terrible username/profile pic/comment synergy. Get out of here with that.
I’ve been following them for a while and damned if this isn’t a good article about Rhea Butcher.

Right after the priest calls on “Jackie Torrance” for the prayer buddy program, he mentions someone with the last name Jerczyk, which is the last name of an ill-fated character in Needful Things. That’s way too specific and rare a name to not be an easter egg.
Not surprising...
Yes, it appears the research shows that traumatic brain injuries can lead to neurodegenerative diseases such as ALS as well as CTE and Alzeimer’s.
Godspeed, Dwight.
