@James Philip Morrow: Indeed? I've never heard that before, and even the quasi-definitive source, Wikipedia, doesn't mention this AT ALL.

@Maulleigh: You should write a song about that!

@Synik103: Alton Brown's the man! He has two great books out there that I highly recommend: "I'm Just Here for the Food" and "I'm Just Here for the Food 2" ... the baking one is a great guide.

@tok3ninja: "I'll take 'Team Players' for $800, Alex."

@summerbee: I remember working in a cubicle farm and coming across the word "Prairiedogging" and the definition. Later that day, a *pop* sound happened and about half the cubicle farm started demonstrating the word I had learned.

@LawrenceLiverless: Yes, if you play your songs through iTunes and install this program and have Windows. :)

@DigablePlanet: If memory serves, it's the stigma (or is it stamen?) of a flower. It's so expensive (and difficult to find) due to the need for manual (read: low-paid human labor) retrieval.

@Parapraxis: Now that you mention it, I remember that Ira talked about picking that up from Gizmodo, because I thought "Hey, I read that site too!"

I didn't see it in the article, but I recall that one of the tricks was to put "Limit 5" or some such artificial count. People would then buy like crazy.

@diamonddnice: I went through the process to become a massage therapist in Texas, and two interesting non-typically-male things that I learned that I really like were scrubs (making them is hella simple, really as shown above) and manicure/pedicures. As odd as that might sound, I really like having my nails look good.

Is there a free method to sync "To do" items out of Outlook? I'm on Outlook 2007, and would love to find a free way to sync it up with my iPhone. I've looked, but haven't found anything that sounds successful.

Vote: Firefox Portable

They used to have the top free apps, but then in one of the updates, they took it away. I was scanning that list almost daily.

@godmademud: Your comment about getting irritated at people finding you on social networking sites made me chuckle. Irony!

@fredygamer: AWESOME! I'm going to have to send this to a few of my friends. :)

@JohnGonzo: Unfortunately, I'm not as gifted at remembering a list of things as some people. A list like this is handy. I think the advantage, JohnGonzo, of something like this is that you will have it on your iPhone (which most of us carry) and on a laptop/desktop if we don't have our phone ready.

@pbean: What, is that to say that you don't do things regulalry?

Didn't iTunes used to have a "Free Application" link on the lower left side? I used to go to that, and then sort by Release Date to see what new Free Apps are out there. I don't seem to have that option anymore.

I would have loved to have read some comments about the 3 oz. rules — which seem ridiculously small — but I didn't feel like wading through the >100 comments going back and forth about peanut allergies.
